Pretty sure the US is literally Immigrants: The Nation. I mean, I understand not wanting immigrants who refuse to integrate like what's happening in Europe, but the US' culture revolves around immigrants.

You'd be hard-pressed to find some asshole that refused to assimilate American society. The US doesn't just pretend to like immigrants, it has a system that presses them to behave, while at the same time has a culture that eventually makes them feel welcome. The more recent terrorist attacks are the result of indoctrination via Internet, so not wanting any more foreigners won't solve the issue.

The US doesn't work like European countries, your bloodline doesn't matter when it comes to nationality. All American families have an ancestor who immigrated there (unless you're Native American).
