I'm not so sure I have that much to offer you in terms of feedback, just as I don't know how much YOU would have to offer me. After all, it seems that the kind of sound I am interested in is pretty much very different from what you're interested in.
That being said, I would say that I think "1" is much better than "0." What "0" really has that makes it interesting is its dissonance, otherwise it's very similar to a lot of the stuff I see in these threads. But "1" is different, mainly because of the truly wonky drums and the confused keyboard work that never goes quite where I expect it to go. It kind of reaches a point where it starts to almost demand attention; ideally, this is what you'd want. So my feedback is really to make more stuff like "1" and less stuff like "0." Otherwise, I don't have much else to say.
Thank you a lot, I am talking with my friend who played drums on that track and your feedback was plenty constructive, gives me an idea of what is more attention grabbing. There's actually no keyboards on that track though, it's me playing guitar and pedal magic
I think your newest album has some great stuff sonically, though I don't feel like you have much confidence in your voice what with all the effects over it and that. I really like the disorienting sound of Shake the Hands but the vox are too low in the mix, I can't make out what you're saying. I don't have time to listen to the full album right now but I will come back to it to finish at a later time.
thanks again for the feedback.

Just released this this morning, it's probably my most focused and polished work yet. These songs have been floating around on my DAW for quite a while now being tweaked for months.

My new album is going to be a little inconsistent since it has darker ambient tracks, then dark synthpop and then now really bright upbeat synthpop. Maybe I'll make one half bright and the other half dark?

The intro set me up for something good but then it pulndered heavily and was all over the place. It feels like every song is trying to be a dopelganger for every possible existing emo band at the same time. Lyrics being intentionally obnoxious, production value varying through out every song and all in all giving out a certain "in joke" vibe.
And no. Certainly not pop punk.

Thanks for the recs, I appreciate it!
I put out my first release very recently as well. In my first three days, I got 140 listens, but the number or listens after that has dramatically decreased. I'm by the way.
Listening through your album for the first time, this is some pretty great stuff man, keep it up!
Thanks dude, that's my experience as well, but you should definitely get more!
I just listened to Tenebrous Tidings back to front, and I really liked it. I loved the tone, I loved the atmosphere even more, at times it reminded me of the heavy pulsating horror synths in Stranger Things; at times it was more evocative of stuff like Scandinavian metal. Although I realise what you're going for with the cover, I think that could use a bit more work. I really admired the song titles though, very exacting stuff.
Keep it up mate :)

wow, thanks man, I really appreciate the feedback. Glad you liked it!
I think if Pelican and Scissofright had a baby that was raised listening to Muddy Waters, it would turn out a lot like Numeromancy. I love how high in the mix the bass is, it definitely adds extra grit and groove.

This ones me, but came back because I listened to some stuff last night.
Just wanted to come back and say how good this guys stuff is. Seriously one of the best things I've listened to this year. I really like what you do.
Appreciate the compliment man! I'm mostly influenced by the work of George Martin and Brian Wilson, but I also try to inject my production with a modern edge.
