Thoughts? Haven't seen any threads about this. It's super showtuney and fun. A little cheesy tho.
Or are you guys waiting for the melon review to know whether you like it or not?

Fuck off, Jagjaguwar intern. Stop shilling this album, you lonely fuck.
It was good, not better than Take the Kids Off Broadway or 21st Century, but it was good
great album, one of the best of the year for sure
i honestly havent had the impulse to listen to a new album since jenny death
I enjoyed it a lot, only release I liked so far this year
Indeed a bit cheesy, but fun overall
Follow The Leader and America are great tracks
WHY DID THEY CHANGE THE INTRO/OUTRO FOR AMERICA FOR SOME OTHER SHITTY SOUNDS
I'VE LITERATLLY HAD TO EDIT IT MYSELF ON AUDACITY AND LOOP IT
anyway the first half is fun. last couple songs suck
If was not even close to as good as those two albums
my AOTY so far
Unrelated to the album but I was in a drug and alcohol treatment center with Sam, he was there for coke abuse. He was very down to earth and nice, I had no idea who foxygen was at the time until someone told me that he was "famous"
what did u guys talk about?
also sry 2 hear about da drug abuse user
When I heard he was a musician I asked him his thoughts on The Money Store(Death Grips), Arular (M.I.A), and Spirit They're Gone, Spirit They've Vanished(Animal collective). He was a fan of animal collective and M.I.A. and he had not listened to DG. We also were partners in a group therapy session and we had to speak on our experiences with overdose. He said he had never Overdosed but had done too much coke and elaborated on how that felt.
Also no need to apologize this was a couple years ago and I have been A OK since then!
I GOT THE PAPER FROM THE LAWN TODAAAAY
ain't that some bullshit
>I'm sorry that you had to go through that amazing time when you did top quality drugs every day
HOW CAN I LOVE YOU WHEN I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU AREEEEEE
I've been a longtime fan of this band and I've got to say I think this is best. This is the first album where theyve stepped out of the broad psych revivalist category and truly come into their own. Only real problem is it's a little short but it's so consistently great that I really don't mind that all that much.
Hang > 21 > Kids > Star Power
that moment is so beautiful. love all the lyrical themes involving idealism, love, and the way that's tied up in the continued references to America/Hollywood/acting etcetera. The old timey music helps accentuate this further to the point that I feel this could really be considered a concept album.
very much this
Am I the only one who liked some of the instrumentals but overall the vocals ruin every song?
What was he like? Seems in recent interviews he's been off drugs since he's pretty quiet
