Don't they have incredibly different injuries as well? Like, you might have one eye, but have to run against the guy with one leg, which doesn't make any sense.
They have certain categories for the types of disadvantages.
So people with impaired vision run against other people with impaired vision and they all use a blind fold to level the field. People with amputaded members swim with other amputees and there are different classes for how severe it is etc
