Cali, Palmira ( which is part of Cali's metro area) and Pereira ( which is pretty close to Cali) are the only "dangerous" cities in this country, and even then nothing will happen to you if you don't get involved in weird stuff as most violence occurs between gang members (not even cartels as nowadays they stay low-key, it's not like in the 80's). Also, crime levels in those cities have dropped significantly lately. Any other cities in the country are pretty safe by latam /USA standards.
