I recommend lithuanian svalya, bulgarian feta, chechil smoked string cheese, brie and bleu cheese

France has the best cheese in general

Depends, do you like strong flavored ones? Greasy flavored ones? "Fresh" flavored ones?

Thank you.

Thanks for telling me this, but
we are not familiar with taste of cheese. We are very underdeveloped about cheese.

The Dutch, don't you know that? Even in your picture it's shown Gouda cheese..

Well what do you like? Sharp cheeses? Mild cheeses? Fresh cheeses? There's a lot of varieties available.

Start with something basic like comté. Then emmental, bleu, camenbert, reblochon, saint-nectaire, concoillotte, and cantal.

We have the best cheese, believe me.

He's asian which means he doesn't know anything about cheese!! Just give him basic cheeses!!!!!!

Here are the cheese to try

1. Cheddar
The classic cheese. Try "sharp cheddar" for extra flavor.
2. Swiss
A tasty cheese to pair with meat. It typically has large holes inside it of.
3. Parmesan
Try it on pizza! Don't eat this cheese alone. It's strong flavor make it better as an accent.
4. Gouda
A more advanced cheese. Try "aged gouda" it's "Good-ah!"

It's hard to say which country, although probably France would come up the winner, I particularly like petit-suisse other European favorites are Emmental and Parmigiano-Reggiano and Cheddar.

If you want to try Mexican Cotija, Oaxaca and Chihuahua are the better ones.

I recommend brown cheese!

There's no such thing as a 'basic' cheese. All cheeses are weakly acidic.

don't forger the morbier, and tomme

Italian cheese is top tier too. Less fat and fine taste.

Don't eat too much cheeses tho, it can ruin your asian stomach (no offense, biologics).

Feta is the best.

>"he doesn't know anything about cheese"
>is american

What's up with this anyway? What's up with brown sauce?

based France

based Italy ;)

I like Port Wine

>Gouda
>A more advanced cheese
Lol, this is probably the most basic cheese.
It's probably the most popular cheese here

any region in Europe claime they have best cheese,
it depends on what you eat with though,
some cheese are good eating with meat, or wine, or bread, or salade

I don't know if this exists in Japan but we put St Moret (creamy cheese) in sushi, alongside with avocado and salmon,

What is the best cheese to put on a burger?

Want to put it on top of the patties as I cook them so it all melts

>amerisharts

>basic cheeses
>no mention of anything soft at all

1. Hard cheese
Start with a vintage/sharp Cheddar. Can pair it with wine, crackers and fruit if you want.
From there you can go to something slightly softer but still hard like Gouda or Jarlsberg for a more nuttier and sweeter flavour.
Or alternatively go harder to Parmesan for a more savoury taste. You absolutely can eat it straight like cheddar but it's best known for being grated over pasta.

2. Soft cheese
Brie (or Camembert) to start.
From there you can branch of into stuff like Goats cheese, Feta, Mozzarella. These are great in salads, sandwiches, on pizza but you can eat them straight too.

3. Blue cheese
If you're feeling adventurous and want max flavour try a Blue cheese. They can have a wide range of flavour profiles but are usually strong and salty.

A good ol' camembert's fine once in a while. Probably not the best out there but it does its job.
Italy's got some good ones too. Just don't eat the one with maggots inside

I think this comes from asian-american cuisine, they might use Philadelphia instead of st.moret.

>Anglos thinking that cheddar and gouda are "hard cheese"

Emmental, Brie and Comté should be good entry level cheeses.

The sushi you're talking about is literally called a 'philadelphia roll' here.

came here for Comté.
Try at the very least 6 months old, 12 if you can

Keeek, intuition.
Is it good?
Here people eat nutella maki, never tried this shit.

I hate threads like these, because each relevant cheese has it's own role in the kitchen.

pre shred cheddar in a bag

Very good. I order some whenever I go to a trashy sushi establishment. Salmon + cream cheese is a common combination in lots of foods here.

DO NOT forget grilled goat

It's about texture and not taste btw.
