Why do people like anything?

They don't. It's a con

Because it's the only way I can feel connected to people

because it actually requires you to understand music
so if you're a pure tard you can't get it
so much of murican music is jazz
blues is jazz
country is jazz
rock is jazz

>rock is jazz
>understand mmusic
duuuude

and funk and hip hop are jazz for sure
forgot to add that

rock is blues
blues is jazz
therefore rock is jazz

naturally pleasing and relaxing to listen to

and if you're a musician yourself it's interesting to evaluate and study

also don't make me challenge you to a counterpoint duel I will heem you

if you can't feel this I don't know what is wrong

>i will heem you

Alri lad?

it's good

>Alri
multiple voices making your head spin so you tap out

Bring that fusion shit out of here.

It's a good album but we need roots
youtube.com/watch?v=S5EIAWUuhBU

I'll bump it
because can you image going into a club with the full fucking band?
the full big band just blasting it out?
that barely even happens at all now
and if it does it's hardly the quality you could get from before
I'd take a real big band over a dj any day
a non-old fart big band if you could even get that

jazz clubs still exist you know

nowhere near the same listen to the old recordings
been to shows couldn't touch it

>Bring that fusion shit out of here.
Hey there, purist! Do you know that your favorite jazz musician, Miles Davis, made a jazz fusion album with John Mclaughlin?

Nobody likes Jazz, it's just a subculture for people who want others to know how intellectual and cultured they are

Such an original opinion. Thank you for your valuable input!

Why aren't people listening to dark jazz?

It's a great subgenre, but people are mostly familiar with just a couple of artists - Angelo Badalamenti and Bohren & Der Club of Gore.

how do we spread the word

Make more threads recommending dark jazz artists. And definitely avoid some ridiculous bait like: "Why does every subgenre of jazz such except dark jazz?"

imagine being

I like the casual easy-to-listen-to jazz, not the one that sounds like everyone is playing a different solo.
