Watched recently, no real emotional attachment although I did first see and enjoy it as a child. It's a really solid and genuinely endearing mass appeal, crowd pleasing, light movie. I was most struck by the creativity and level of care taken by the filmmakers, which is evident immediately and utterly lacking in modern movies aiming for the same broad kind of shallow audience engagement. I know you're just baiting anyway, but I think it's easy to take for granted how good some aspects of the film are, as they've now been ground into the familiar dirt in decades since.

It's a great trilogy, but it's ultimately let down by Part 3.
