Hip Hop chart (Let's do it right this time)

Ok so I figured out a better way to work out doing charts like this. We're starting mostly from scratch here.

We're gonna go by EACH YEAR, starting with 10 and then when the 10s are full and most are happy with it, we move on to 11, and so forth.

I will update throughout! Let's do this right this time!

Bump.

no

Because the Internet

People have already mentioned it but Section.80 isn't that great, and that's coming from a huge kendrick fan.

I'd nominate Splendor and Misery by clipping.
Great example of some of the super experimental hiphop the last decade has been spitting out. Honestly not my favourite album but I think it deserves some recognition.

see

Why not?

Most recent update.

From now on please say the artists with the album names so it's easier for me to find.

The Water[s]
Pinata

oops you got pinata, knew it wouldn't have been missed

How is the chart organized? Might want to make the first row 2010, the second row 2011, etc

Kno - Death is Silent
Cunninlynguists - Oneirology
Tonedeff - Polymer
Earl Sweatshirt - I don't like shit I don't go outside

bad album

either Sit Down, Man or Shut Up, Dude by Das Racist

ask r/hiphopheads

it's 2010 only right now

Earl - Earl should be on there tho for sure

un-ironically a good idea

>open mike memegle

Not guy who recommended him but Dark Comedy isn't bad. Really good album to show to people who wouldn't otherwise listen to hiphop.

No, it's actually really underrated.

It's pretty cohesive and Mural is fucking legendary

maybe just stay there

wrong

I mean fuck, they speak in memes and say stuff like "that track had some fire ass bars", but they do kind of know their shit...

Dark Comedy is a decent album

...

Yeah that's how it's done. First row is 10, second row is 11. Have to add that later in paint so I'm putting off on that until the final chart.

open mike eagle is as good as anyone else in his camp, and they're all making left-field rap better than most def jux shit was

"no"

Yeah fuck it I'm scrapping that idea I'm just filling as I go.

Added.

Waters is added.

SIT DOWN MAN BY DAS RACIST
SIT DOWN MAN BY DAS RACIST
SIT DOWN MAN BY DAS RACIST

KA - honor killed the samurai

fuck off

oh dope in that case get Freddie Gibbs' Pinata on there asap

a lot of albums are in the wrong year

if liveloveasap isn't on there already the list is a fucking joke

what did Anonymous mean by this?

What's everyone's thoughts on Cherry Bomb?

I'll re organize when I get to it.

It's on there already. You blind?

just fill all the slots with viper

Oh. Splendor and Misery is 2016, it's in the second row rn though.

Reccing Run The Jewels (1), 2013.

Cherry bomb had good tracks and really shitty tracks

It's okay

I like cherry bomb but I think there's better tyler albums and a lot better 2015 albums

Unironically, untitled unmastered by Kendrick. Not as good as a full length release but it's definitely a cool release that's representative of the decade.

Fuck. Put the wrong album to replace Kendrick. My bad.

RTJ is already on there.

that Nas & Damian Marley album was pretty cool at the time (2010)

literally TPAB b-sides.
they don't deserve to be on the chart

Throw Jeffery in their, or at least SS2

how about Jeffrey?

I can't recall a recent time that someone has released a mixtape of B sides and had it actually sound good, that's why I'm recommending it.

Not saying it compares to his studio albums but it's definitely an interesting one.

Can someone give me a 2011 album to replace the clipping album I put there by accidnet?

(Tempted just to put back Section 80 for now)

I'll think about it......

ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

...

watch the throne maybe?

fuck off

OH SHIT. That is a good idea actually....
Can I add MCHG too or is that not liked on Sup Forums?

I don't even like it lol just suggesting

das racist sit down man 2010 das racist sit down man 2010 tho

Have you thought of cutting it down to something like 6 or 7 albums for each year? Might not have to dig so hard for filler that way

I filled your mom with my semen

same

I put it on.

It was originally expanded from 10 (there's an original chart but people weren't fans of the final result) so we could fit 2 more from each year.

R.A.P Music for 2012

add Bastard, Oxymoron, Young Rich Niggas

this

wow it's still as bad as the chart from the last thread the other day
at least that one didn't have das rapists or nas & bob marley's son

Denzel Curry - Imperial for 2016

i mean how do you miss flockaveli but include nas and damian marley lmao

Nominating midcity by clipping (2013)

I'm the one posting lists by years, not really suggesting all of them just searching the web.
