Tbh i dont really care if they are queer or not, it's more that they are great musically
yeah i just included queercore bc thats an important part of their artistic identity
its very good musically regardless
well done

Good taste, desu
recs: DJ Krush, Kate Tempest, Jurassic 5, Kognitif, I'd also rec DJ Shadow but there's no way you haven't listened to his stuff
Spoon or The La's maybe. Steve Roach is also nice, if you're into minimalist stuff
MGMT, maybe?
R8, h8 and give some recs pls
woooo manu chao
my mom played that shit ALL THE TIME when i was a kid
will rec some Prodigy, maybe fat of the land. and chemical brothers "exit planet dust"
It's weird, I never hear anyone talk about Manu Chao here, but every time I post some screencap or chart with him in it someone reacts to it
i should check some of his albums out desu, i mostly just remember king of the bongos
would you recommend starting with clandestino
Fantastic recs desu, I like both a lot
Yeah, Clandestino is a good starting point. Also, if you're into that you might also like Noir Désir (I SERIOUSLY recommend them, start with Des Visages, Des Figures) and Buena Vista Social Club.
I can share any of that if you can't find it
I really enjoyed Let Them Eat Chaos, Perfect Coffee is one of my favourite commentaries on the city ever.
I like your taste in hip-hop and bump the fuck up for original pirate material. Scenery's pretty good too.
few bangers in here. I've never listened to that Housemartins record but I've heard my dad hype it several times
Reve on La Question does the ting
i went ahead and picked up both of those on soulseek, my up next queue is so long this thread will be dead when i get to manu chao
ty for the recs im excited to try em out
Gonna side with your dad here and rec that album
ive listened to exactly 16 albums this week so I did 4x4
vanny twins xox
I r8 ween and tom waits, h8neil cicierega's bitch face and rec psytrance idk
I really dont like aesop rock his BIG WORDS meme rap just seems so forced
this is deadset my chart from 3 years ago
LISTEN TO MORE KYLIE MINOGUE THANKYOU IM HERE ALL DAY
i hated original pirate material :^(((
dj krush is sweet and ofc endtroducing is a classic
yeah labor days didn't really do it for me but i dug the way the flows and the production interlaced on the impossible kid
doesn't look like a 4x4 to me, desu
geometry is a social construct
>4x4
comfy chart I am gonna go listen to some albums from that
you're a memester
This is a good chart. What's that Hitchcock album like? Heard Trains last week and really enjoyed it, was thinking of listening to that one next.
I liked it. It's not super amazing, but I only heard this and I Often Dream of Trains by him so far so I am not an expert on him.
I think I liked Trains more, but they are both very different in style.
