Worst casting

is the decision to have jesse eisenberg play lex luthor the worst casting decision in history?

if you disagree, who would you suggest is the more miscast than this?

Scarlet Johansen

i haven't seen it yet, can sophie turner actually act in this? jean grey's meant to be attractive

that film looks like a wasteland of poor casting though

Yuck she looks so fucking gross. Just no.

Get on my level, faggot

No, your plebitude blinds you.
Eisenberg's performance is remarkable.
All this cam't be refuted, don't even try to embarrass yourself attempting it.

If meme magic makes idris elba bond, that will be

poor casting, yes. Still entertaining.

Topher Grace as Venom is by far the worst casting decision ever, the fucking rock or even Bautista would've been 1000 times better not some skinny faggot from a shitty pseudo stoner sitcom. @nd would be MGM spoiled cunt faggot Toby MacGuire as Spider Man

Fuck off pleb. Eisenberg is one of the reasons BvS is elevated to peak capekino status.

BRUCE

This much pleb

Eisenberg was kinocasting

This fucker here is the worst casting in all of capeshit

Everything about him was pure cringe, from the tooth getting fixed to the bitty theme song

His performance was the best part of BvS though.

I just noticed he has a bit part in the village. He has like two lines.

but the entire point of his character is to become lex luthor RIGHT at the end

which HE FUCKING DOES

holy shit dude

...

When he talks about his birthday in the first "fight" in new york time square, that was beyond cringe, that was meta cringe on a universal level.

That never happened quite so hard in a movie since.

It was like a hammer. Poor guy, and he's done a lot of shitty movies, but that just killed a franchise....

Played by a nigger. I don't even want to google the pic because it makes me want to throw up.

No, the problem was not casting him. The problem was how shitty his role was written and how he was directed. So ultimately, it's Zach Snyder's fault as well as the producers.
If Zach Snyder keeps being involved in DC, it will only get worse. Mark my words.

That guy in your pic should've been Lex Luthor.

She's no comic Jean Grey, but she's cute enough for me to believe Scott would fall for her. Plus, her acting wasn't top kino or anything, but it was better than JLaw and it worked, she was a decent phoenix imo, better than that old hag in the original movies.

>better than that old hag in the original movies
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

This. Thank you, user

famke jamseen in the original x men films > prime turner

don't even. it's so true though.

makin me sad. Would have been older then superman, but younger then affleck.

interesting mix.

you got weird issues with race, man. seek help.

objectively false

I don't. I used to have a mixed race gf. It's more how they change the character's race for no reason than racism, fuck off.

Or if the tinfoil theory is correct, he's just the son of Lex Luthor,

He was a great villain, whether he was a great lex however...

Black girls have messy hair. That's what nappy means. Also, it's for kids... let them have the black barbie.

it literally changes nothing about the character. it's exactly the same as if they'd cast a woman with black or red hair. it has no effect on anything.

well is it a miscast if Grace was supposed to be a terrible Venom ?

That's terrible writing not a miscast but okay

I kind of agree with you but you need to differentiate between a terrible miscast and a poorly written adaptation. Luthor in the movies is a terrible adaptation, and choosing Eisenberg to play BvS Luthor wasn't a miscast, he played the role okay. Eisenberg as the OG Luthor is a miscast. To exemplify my point, if Eisenberg played an OC Donut Steel character called Kox Kuthor people wouldn't complain about Eisenberg being miscast, they would just complain about having a shitty villain.

Yes, it does. The fact that she's mudblood can be seen in a whole new light when she's black.

My guess is what they were going for was like how Lex got updated from "Mad scientist who got butthurt he lost his hair" to "Trump-esque business tycoon who is jealous/fearful of Superman's power that he can never have" in the 80's, and tried to update that image into some kind of crazy Mark Zuckerberg.

Suck my dick

But the trump-esque business man works on every level. He's calm, cool and collected. its such a retarded decision.

he was awful and i loved him in layer cake
