Yes, I love Rush
I listen to a ton of black metal and neofolk. I'm the ideological opposite of most of those groups (I'm a socialist), but I can separate art from artist, so as long as the lyrics aren't explicitly white power/fascist, I couldn't give less of a fuck
>replying to bait thread
it gets old very easy and the bands often stray into neopagan nonsence
We already had this thread a few days ago, and it devolved into a shitty political debate about identity politics.
Besides, most WP music is derivative punk or hard rock, so it's not very interesting compared to politically unaffiliated music or stuff made by liberals and leftists.
So, I politely sage this thread.
is Oi white power music?
FUCK DA POLICE
I'll bite.
I listened to lots of that kind of shit, and some of it is surprisingly good. Most of it is horribly derivative, but some of it is comparable or even better than their unaffiliated or left-wing contemporaries.
New Glory is the best American RAC band:
youtu.be
oh yeah, because lefties don't repeat all their mantras every single song
no because I'm not an autist
Look, it's not about left vs. right.
Try to keep this on the subject at hand.
You're probably memeing, but in case you're serious, a band comprised of Jewish Canadian Libertarians is White Power?
libertarians are pretty much all redpilled by now. At the very least, the Rush dudes might be Trump supporting Likudniks
Even when they do, it's still more interesting than WP music.
See Gang of Four, Stereolab, Atari Teenage Riot, Victor Jara, John Maus, Crass, Cornelius Cardew, MDC, etc.
But ultimately, is right.
Ex-Libertarians have become disillusioned, but they're hardly what the far-right would call "red-pilled." They're invested in personal gain over commitment to political principle.
Depends on what you like. Do you like Hard Rock?

lmao I remember you from the last thread.
Keep posting good WP music so the discussion doesn't devolve into a slate political debate.
Death in June is the best vaguely WP/Europa pride music I've heard. Rest is just skinhead Skrewdriver punk.
I'd like some more RAC after this recent rise in Antifa marxist tards.
I'm fascist/natsoc but RAC is just white trash garbage.
Death In June is a leftist who uses fascistic imagery to look kewl. Like most neo-folk artists.
I'm kinda like this guy with the exception I don't give a fuck at all about lyrics.
There's hardly any RAC I listen to on a frequent basis, but if I do it's all SSS(Samurai Spirit Skinhead)/Japanese RAC, so not actually white power, that is if you don't go along the honorary aryan stuff
Sledgehammers Kamikaze is probably one of my alltime favourite songs.

>On 5 August 1976, Clapton provoked an uproar and lingering controversy when he spoke out against increasing immigration during a concert in Birmingham. Visibly intoxicated, Clapton voiced his support of controversial political candidate Enoch Powell, and announced on stage that Britain was in danger of becoming a "black colony". Among other things, Clapton said "Keep Britain white!"[151] which was at the time a National Front (NF) slogan.[152][153]
most of it is pure dogshit, but I liked this

Also I recommend visiting the war museum in Tokyo. It's very interesting and impressive to read the sayonara messages of the kamikaze pilotes before they started their last flight. Some very sad letters.

I don't have a link 'cause I found it on Soulseek.
Just look it up by either their name in Kanji or Ouka (or their name in Kanji).
Ouka doesn't have a big discography, so you'll probably have an easier time finding that song there.

Fashgaze/Bootgaze coming soon
keep your eyes peeled in the Bandcamp threads
What in the hell?
I consider myself quite well versed in WP music...but this is the first time I've even heard of this guy, or SSS for that matter.
What's the best SSS album?
Would you like some Post-Punk with your Oi!?
Now here's a band with a fascinating bit of history. Before getting elected to the Front National's central committee in 1997, Robert Ottaviani began his career here as Ultime Assaut's lead vocalist. He has since attempted to distance himself from his past:
fabius.zeblog.com
Decking the cover is a crude illustration of an Arno Breker statue raising a sword in front of a blazing silhouette and some classical architecture.
Characteristic of most releases from Rebelles Européens, gritty reverbed rhythms drive the music like their fellow countrymen Légion 88 or Chauves Pourris. The songs here are consistently midtempo and have a strangely ethereal quality which ends up soundling like a French version of "Second Empire Justice" by Blitz. The mostly Oi! A-side is a complete drag, and all too many songs string you along with a few neat intros, but then drag you down in the conventional third-rate Oi! you're tired of hearing.
The music becomes much more interesting when the album delves deeper into Post-Punk on the B-side. The closer "L.V.F." has some neat Ska strokes while "Chômeur 80" bursts forward with Hardcore energy. Unlike the French pirate vocals of Légion 88's Alain or Kontingent's Laurent, Robert has this intoxicated, off-key moan which ranges from tolerable to grating. "Segneur Barbare" is perhaps his best performance since he keeps it at a volume just above a whisper. The instrumentation helps, too.
Highlights: "Guerriers Païens," "Chômeur 80," "Paris," "Segneur Barbare," "Les Cosaques," "L.V.F"
"Guerriers Païens"

You can't go wrong with:
Bull the Buffalos - s/t
Growl Strike - Scorpion Death Rock
Laiya/Raiya (雷矢) - Keep to Protect (罪無人)
Sledge Hammer (鐵鎚 / 鐵槌) - Wolves of Japan (日本狼)
Jinrai (仁籟) - 図南の鵬翼
This is...intriguing. I wish the album aren't were such garbage.
Also what does that say about the state of Sup Forums that this is the best thread going right now?
Thanks. I'll start with the Wolves of Japan album.
Also, be sure to seek out the following various artist comps:
"Fight Back For The Rising Sun"
"Ookami no Utage" (狼の宴)
"Werewolfen: The Japanese Samurai Compilation"
"Made in Japan (Skinhead Sounds from the Land of the Rising Sun)"
If you like that, then you'll love Above the Ruins. I think that has Ultime Assaut beat by a mile.
After leaving Death in June, Tony Wakeford formed a band called Above the Ruins which released "Songs of the Wolf", the band's sole full-length musical recording.
The band enjoyed a brief existence promoted by the British National Party. Apart from his presence, the line-up of the band behind Songs of the Wolf was never revealed due to the band's open political deployment. Rumors about the identities of the members proliferated, but none of them were ever confirmed.
The record was first circulating on tape as a demo in 1984, but was then reprinted on vinyl in 1986, with "Storm Clouds Over Europe" missing and now presumably lost. No one has ever found and released the tape online. Considering its short length, you'd be forgiven if you thought of this as an EP or mini-LP.
Above the Ruin's music is within the vein of early Death in June, but the approach is much more straightforward, less clumsy and more akin to darkwave not unlike Joy Division, Warsaw or Killing Joke. Despite the production being very rough shod (keep in mind this was originally recorded as a demo) and Wakeford's clumsy performance (especially those nearly atonal vocals on "Under Western Skies"), the band manages to sound professional. The "kicking" songs like Waiting, the title-track and Progress are quite enjoyable even if a pinch awkward.
The lyrics are obviously committed, but have some good meaning even apart from the National Front propaganda: in fact this is the first attempt done by Wakeford to capture the esoteric and regal doctrine indirectly implied in his political choice of the time.
