He's an outlier. Most pale Arabs are that way because of Greek and Roman settlement in antiquity, Slavic and Caucasian settlement during the early Islamic period, and renaissance-era slave importation from Europe.
Given the way populations grow over time, mass migrations from many centuries ago can have a big demographic impact later on down the line.
