2093

>2093

Saved so when the year 2093 comes, I can post this and show how stupid you were.

>Implying any of us will be alive after the great race war of 2019

...

the axe is almost on par with the wheel

axe is billion year old , perfect tool.

what's wrong?

want a "laser vibro axe"

>star wars fans get it

on the other hand you have films set in the DISTANT FUTURE OF 2003 with space stations and AIs and shit. so they're either too soon, or way too late.

case in point, modern fashion from the year 1982, in Gerry Anderson's "UFO"

your virginity will outlive the axe age

>yoga pants

tools like that will always be useful in emergencies, you shit for brains cuck

we're still using wood that leaves smudges and liquid that stains to write with

tools don't fucking age-out like iphones

this is what the Skydiver submarine crew used to wear.

>androids are literally supermen and can be programmed to operate autonomously
>send a bunch of idiot humans instead.
>OP points out something irrelevant about an axe being a logic gap.

sir, i would strike you down with my buggy whip if i could reach you.

>people don't know the difference between tools and technology

Not OP but they should've had a line telling us how advanced that axe was compared to past axes.

>"Ah, a tritanium axe with an ergonomically shaped tetra-composite handle and a reinforced mono-molecular polyalloy edge. This will serve me well."

Something like that.

Why would they need to do that when it's obvious the axe has a sleek futuristic design. In any case, an axe doesn't need that shit to function it's purpose. Most modern axes aren't too different from that they were a thousand years ago.

I fucking hate this meme

Technology has advanced more in the last century than it has over last several millennia. It's not crazy to think the axe would evolve as well.

That's actually one thing After Earth got right with those shape-shifting cutlasses.

>Most modern axes aren't too different from that they were a thousand years ago.

except for the materials.

old axe: pig iron, tree branch handle

new axe: drop-forged carbon-steel, laminated pressed wood-plastic composite handle

People still dig holes with a shovel but they don't ride a horse to work.

i dig holes with thermite.

literally kek

not sure how when the ingredients are illegal unless you have an industry license

>rust and aloomenum
>illegal

gr8 b8 m8 r8 8/8

jesus christ dude

you've been watching too much shit tier tv like breaking bad

technobabble is disgusting

good pasta, pretty close to >70666666, almost there

I compare this to cutlery, would you want them using 'space forks' in the future? It's really not much less of a retarded concept to be complaining about this.

youre all going to look fucking stupid when apple announces the iAxe

Have you ever been on a naval vessel? Are there axes anywhere? No. Why not? Because you can't cut through 3 inch thick steel with an axe. That an axe is on that ship implies its doors/walls can be cut through with an axe. That's fuckin retarded.

>implying any whites will die

They call them FIRE AXES.

Like in TITANIC.

At worest, it's needed to cut someone's leg out that's pinned in debris.

...

>2016
>there are still pencils
>there are still cars
>there are still ovens
>there are still fridges
>there are still ironing boards
>firearms still use bullets
>electronics still use batteries
>coal is still being used
WHAT THE FUCK I THOUGHT THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE FUTURE

you forgot fucking hammers

who didn't learn how to make thermite before breaking bad????
honestly....

no we got nail guns, that's done with.... but PENCILS, butt fuck me i thought something better then bic crystal would have come around.

He's not white user

why was this wooden plank on a spaceship? It even has quite a lot of screentime, maybe it has something to do with the axe in the OP or something like that

>He thinks there aren't axes on modern naval vessels.

>There is still internet
We should be able to download memes directly into our brains by then what the fuck?

Wood is an excellent material for shimming, as well as bracing. It can be easily cut and shaped, and is relatively light. Not sure if they still do this, but even into the 90's some nations kept stocks of planks on their submarines and surface vessels to use as a kind of all-purpose material.

We've been using charcoal sticks before pencils, and we used sticks to write in clay tablets long before that.

We used rocks to bang on other rocks for 90% of human history.

Tools do indeed become outdated.

>pencils
Are ballpoint pens not high-tech enough? What about drawing tablets?
>ovens
Supermarkets are full of shit you only need a microwave for.
>fridges
Preservatives have rendered refrigeration unnecessary for loads of normally perishable foods.
>ironing boards
There are a number of synthetic fabrics that don't require ironing.

>2016
>there are still white people

The future is pretty racist tbqh (to be quite honest) distant relative

I can totally see naval vessels having axes on them considering you use wood to block hull breaches.

dont mind user
we've purposefully taught him wrong
as a joke

Sounds like some MGS3 codec tier shit, man

her head looks like it was pasted on her body

also why is the axe so curved

is there a dick in those pants?

...

That's a big axe.

kek

wow that's autistic.

>2016
>Not using an auto hammer

I guess in the promethus universe the progressives won and even fire axes cant be straight

tfw when you are living in 2093 and you're coporate-nationality cost benefit panel won't expense you a hydrolic laser axe.

>Show, don't tell
Ever heard of this good ol' storytelling technic?
