So imagine if north west Copenhagen was one "area" - all you need to do to win one seat is get the most votes in North West Copenhagen.

IIRC a party has better chance of winning seats if they focus solely on one region of the country. The Labor and Braveheart parties won many more seats than they deserved, by focusing only on areas where there're large numbers of unemployed migrants and "much heritage celts" respectively.
UKIP only won one seat, despite winning a large number of votes nationally, by not dominating any particular geographic region.

We spent like 30-40m dollars on our Royal House, each year. We bring more in from tourism and the people like it. They also act as representatives for Denmark, you probably have someone in the States that does the same? Someone who's not president.
I see. We can vote on specific people too, but it lists as a party vote. When everythings counted they calculate how many many of the 179 seat each party gets. Usually the parties choose the people who got the most votes, but they are not required too.
