In my opinion, the best parts of the first three seasons of GoT were right up there with the best of the HBO Golden Era (Sopranos, Wire, Deadwood etc). The show's been such a travesty these last few seasons, it's hard to recognise how good some of those episodes were.
McShane was wasted here, sadly. Didn't get to even do the Broken Man speech. Another missed opportunity. Pic unrelated.
