I'm looking for an episode of a detective show, probably British and from the 90s. I was certain it was Jonathan Creek, but I just re-watched every episode and it wasn't
Anyway the only thing I can remember is an old man standing at a window making a scary face, and it turns out that he's actually been stabbed in the back and is dead
You are right, it's Jonathan Creek. The episode is called Ghost's Forge.

I haven't seen Johnathan Creek in many years so I can't remember the relationship between the two main characters. Weren't they friends with benefits or something?

Yeah, I loved it. The american remake was shit.
I also love McCallum (with John Hannah), and Halifax F.P.
Gabriel Turner
I always found British murder mystery shows way darker than American and the characters seem traumatised a lot more

>Help >I'm looking for an episode of a detective show, probably British and from the 90s. Hey, me too.
I thought it was Morse or Frost, and the only thing I remember is someone had rigged their attic so little needles come out the floor and electrocute someone who stands on it. Anyone know it?
