because they're too common

they are not, they are most common color, i know lot of people here who prefer brown eyes, but we have it 50/50 with people being either brown or blue eyed

That's how pale blue eyes look to me. Brown/hazel eyes look trustworthy.

If everyone has blue eyes, the girl with brown eyes would stand out. And vice versa.

I have brown eyes and switch them for blues if I could, the latter is considered more attractive.
