What is your opinion on sanding off the Squier logo off the guitar and replacing it with a Fender water decal? Have you ever done it before?
What is your opinion on sanding off the Squier logo off the guitar and replacing it with a Fender water decal...
Gay. No. For what purpose?
Why? If you ever want to sell it it makes it kind of weird too.
muh image
everyone will be able to tell that youre poor
just buy a fucking mexican fender
So it looks like a genuine Fender?
I love my VM Jag, but it really does bother me that it says Squier on the headstock and not Fender. And I would never wanna sell my Jag.
>tfw a guitar you like is the signature model of an artist you don't like and it has their name on it.
I'm currently unemployed (last year student) and Mexican Fenders are expensive as hell in my country.
fucking faggot
Lovely.
it'll just make you look pathetic and vain. come on dude, have some self respect.
>implying anyone would notice that it's a decal and not the real thing
Since we're talking Fender here, would you recommend getting a Fender Frontman 25R for 40 euros? I'm looking to get a lil bedroom practice amp, and I'm mainly looking for good sounding clean. As far as distortion goes, I don't really care about that, I've got a few distortion pedals if I want to make things heavy.
>but it really does bother me that it says Squier on the headstock and not Fender.
kys for 2 reasons
>reason 1
jaguars and jazzmaster were the squiers of their time. these were student model guitars and they were even cheaper second hand because people didn't like dealing with the bridges. so the spirit of jag/jazz has really changed into something stupid , fender jags were simply not worth $1500 even when you adjust for inflation
>reason 2
if i was sitting in a crown and somehow noticed the label on a guitar was changed i would defintiely think less of you
>these were student model guitars
wrong, jazzmaster was fenders top of the line and was supposed to replace the strat
yes, and they flopped. they weren't worth much after that, until grunge and indie fags made them popular
and?
He's saying that you're love for the jagmaster is derived from the image indie bands gave them. It's not an extremely expensive guitar so he gives a fuck. Just keep the Squire label.
I'm not OP, he said some wrong shit and I pointed it out.
