Is there much of an improvement between a 2010 prs se and a 2015 prs se? I bought a 2010 used from guitar center for 420 in red but I found a 2015 prs se in blue with a floyd rose used for 550. I'd much prefer the blue over the red and I wouldn't mind have a floyd but I'm wondering if the electronics or build qaulity is better? I'm thinking about upgrading the pick ups anyways so it would be the electronics besides the pick ups.
The prs se from guitar center also has issues. I can't get the truss rod nut to tighten enough to actuall straighten out the neck. The pick ups are slanted inwards for some reason as well.

Ashdown do some nice bass compressor pedals, bit pricey though.
Thing with compressors is they add polish to a good sound. With a cheap bass and a crappy amp you won't hear much difference.

Anyone? I'm getting concerned that there is something seriously wrong with this truss rod. It won't tighten at all and I can see that there are still threads for this to go down on. The pick ups are also slanted inwards for some reason. I also found a prs se tremonti with a vintage tremolo for 447 woth 44 shipping that I could get instead or a se custom with a floyd for 497 with 20 shipping.
