I have a few of those 5000 peso notes.

I only have one of $500

Pretty low value notes. 500 pesos is like our 100 and you're not really that much poorer than us. Don't your banks get pissy about that?
Also, who are the people on them? That's one of the most interesting things about notes.

>Don't your banks get pissy about that?
you would be surprised about the ineptitude of our current government... in all levels

>Also, who are the people on them?
>1st: Benito Juarez
the one who kicked Maximilian ass and the Frenchs
>2nd: José Maria Morelos
general who fought in the independence, also priest
>3rd: Moctezuma
Character of AoE II: the conquerors expantion
>4th: Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz
Nun of colonial times although spanish desendant, proud self proclamed "Mexican" writer, poet, philosopher, self-taught scholar; is it said that she disguised as a male to be acepted on school
>5th left: Diego Rivera "the elephant":
Artist (Muralist), comunist ideologist, husband of Frida Kahlo
>5th right: Frida Kahlo "the dove"
Artist (surrealism), also comunist, feminist and hipster simbol, wife of Diego Rivera

ITS EXCODIA THE FORBIDDEN ONE

ups, sorry... third is not Moctezuma; is Nezahualcoyotl, a Tlatoani (something like district ruler) of the Aztec empire, he was also poet, philosopher, and architect

Here are the french yuro coins

>French penny to nickel is fucking Guthix

Please put an Arabic number on the 5 yen Japan, it's a pain in the ass.

All I got for now.

The notes...

> not having a different style for every coin

... and the coins.

There are older ones in circulation, but those are the last generation of them.

Much appreciated.

Are the coins usable outside their respective countries?

Yes of course, that's the point of the Euro from the average citizen's perspective

r8 our coins

Must be fun having such variety in coins.

Kinda, you can keep track of which country they come from and all.
We even have a website where people report banknotes they get their hands one, where they got it, their serial etc.
You can sometimes find how a certain banknote travelled across Europe which is interesting, also shows which countries have the most autists tracing down the banknotes life (looking at you, germans, belgians and finns)

>Also I like the random Aztec out of the blue.
oh, that is some Zapotec (another culture like Aztecs or Mayans) place called "Monte Alban"; also, is not random, you see, almost all the right ones are places, and these places are some how related with their respective personalitie:

in the case of Benito Juarez (blue) "Monte Alban" is placed in Oaxaca his natal state, also, he was pure indigenous.

for José Maria Morelos (Pink) that place is located in the city of "Morelia" (named that way after him), also the butterflies are named "Monarcas" and they migrate to that same city every year

for Nezahualcoyotl (orange) the view of Tenochtitlan, capital city of the Aztec empire, also that coyote head partiali covered with the "R" of the seal, is because his name means "hungry coyote"

I dont really know the one for Sor juana (green) but I supose is the convent in which she spent most of her life "Convento de San Jerónimo"

>those south american currencies with animals on it
