I don't know why, but this transformation is fucking disturbing to me somehow. It's a completely different person, even just for an act. Who really is Gregg? What is he like as a person?

A movie buff with the largest VHS archive on the West Coast.

Does Gregg really like movies though?

bump

No Greggheads around?

Gregg killed Tom Cruise Heidecker.

Gregg did all what he could, it's fucking Tim's fault that he trusted that shady charlatan.

I don't mean to flame or anything, but I'm just absolutely baffled by the Hamburger guy. It's supposed to be so bad it's funny, right? It just doesn't make me laugh, for others it does though apparently, I mean is there something I'm missing? It's just really weird because I've heard him on podcasts and other shit where he's not in that character and he's actually funny.

By forcing Tom Cruise Heidecker to appear in his insulting rip-off of Decker, he worked the child to death.
Look at Gregg's face.
That's the face of a baby killer.

I'm a total Greg freak.

Entertainment was probably the most depressing movie in the last few years.

I don't get Neil either, it's like Kaufman's schtick maxed out.

Both sides are characters.

He likes Ant Man

Gregg is a great talent the Hamburger stuff is amazing, then doing a 180 as "Gregg" with Tim, super mellow and the opposite of Neil. Entertainment was a remarkable film and his gave a great performance.

That collection must be worth a fortune. I envy him tbqh.

Love that he's worked with the Melvins/FNM/Mr.Bungle guys

It's only worth a fortune if someone buys every single one. if he actually tried to liquidize it he would be lucky if he broke even.

Fuck, Gregg is based.

RARE

he also
>was in numerous punk bands
>had a record company which, among others, released Anton Lavey's stuff
>wrote a book with album reviews written in anagrams

what a magnificent man

#squadgoals

You say that like it's a challenge. They would fly off his shelves in under 4 days or less. Eventually he would laugh all the way to the bank. The memories weren't left in the case, you see.

What's this book? Got me interested tbqhwyf.

how did they get across?

I'm more of an ayaka-head

i have an internet friend who works to set up shows in comedy clubs in LA. they said Gregg is really nice to all of the behind-the-scenes people, which is a. an exception for performers in the LA scene and b. not necessary for someone who's as relatively well-known as he is.

btw, go see Entertainment, it's really good

Season three of decker is a misunderstood masterpiece, it brought back James Dean

don't you get it? Tom Cruise Heidecker was Gregg's son.

Heres a good interview of him out of character

What?

>What influenced these non-Neil aspects of your performance?

>Definitely the Robert Bresson film, “Au Hasard Balthazar,” about the donkey. That to me was the biggest reference for acting in this movie that I can think of. I would think back to this donkey’s fine, fine performance that this director was able to get—this kind of performance out of a mule—which I thought was just this deep, deep performance. And I would think about that mule when we were shooting a lot of the time, and wondering what was going through his head. And because Rick wanted so many blank moments and dead stares like that, it was a really good point of reference.

Yeah, he does.

holy shit, what a patrician

>It's supposed to be so bad it's funny, right?
No, it's supposed to be a deconstruction of standup comedians and what makes them work. It's like when you stretch a rubber band to see how far it will go before it breaks.

Of course not, Gregg somehow plotted his death to get to host the show for a bit. He got one episode out of it.
I hope it was worth it, Gregg, you murdering piece of shit.

Is he going to be on the new season of Decker?

Thanks for this.

Entertainment was great.

When's new on cinema

Next month, probably. Although Decker is going to be on adult swim proper and not just youtube.

I need to get my hands on that Victorville Film Archive sweater

I fucking want it since the first time I've seen it. Also this thread, never knew Gregg is so fucking based. He's probably my most favorite person right now.

Me too, where to cop? Gregg can make some dough

bump

What are your favorite On Cinema moments? I just finished it and thought it was god-tier comedy.

>ywn chill with the RELAX trio

On Cinema with the Decker is probably the most genius universe ever created.

they did it his way

this

Reminder that Tim Heidecker paid 15000 (fifteen thousand) dollars to have a cameo in this piece of shit.

Which episode of On Cinema was that?

Also it's fucking hilarious that both of them took the part just so they could incorporate it into the On Cinema. Top.
