Can't comment, the second one left me so bored shitless and uninterested I never even bothered to see three.

You're dumb then.

These films are too smart for you.

2nd should have ended with the death of smaug

1 is good
2 is fine untill Smaug arrives and is great
3 managed to be disappointing despite not having much to live up to

yeah i loved that weird white glow filter that made everything look like shit

I like them despite the many flaws.

they arent perfect but considering good fantasy movies are as rare as Unicorn shit then The Hobbit is one of the better ones.

They're all bad.

Waste of time to watch.

I liked them.

I was actually sad the second two didnt have the singing of the first.

This is a valid point, but I still hate them for the bitter disappointment they caused me

the cast are perfect
the budget was massive
the story is classic
the director was perfect
everything .. perfect.

so why was it so shit?

pls explain

I just started the book. Boy they really stretched it out didn't they?

Yeah, that indestructible wheelbarrow and that physics defying gold sure were smart. And stretching out a single book to a trilogy full of filler was smart too. Oh and the addition of Legolas to draw in the old fans was so smart. And the random elf dwarf love interest to keep the women in the audience interested was smart too. And Radaghast The Meme was so very smart indeed.

It was boring mate. Boring as fuck.

- The movies are called "The Hobbit" but none of them feature Bilbo as the main character.

- Thorin is a boring protagonist

- The big arm orc dude is a boring antagonist

- Smaug was good but the scenes with him looked like video game cutscenes

- Added useless filler to span 3 movies

- None of the characters are memorable

this pretty much sums it up.

The Hobbit 1977 is still the best, OP.

jesus christ he admits they planned nothing and was just improvising as he went along

Warcraft gave me a new appriciation for these movies

Not in the slightest OP. They were all 0/10 godawful abortions.

Jackson spent 3 years planning the Lord of the Rings.
he had a month to plan the Hobbit when he took over from Del Taco at the last moment.

>that indestructible wheelbarrow and that physics defying gold sure were smart
You mean the barrels? That was actually a fun scene. Not sure what you mean about the physics defying gold. The unsolidified statue of Thror?

>And stretching out a single book to a trilogy full of filler was smart too.
It is if you want an excuse to make more money.

>Oh and the addition of Legolas to draw in the old fans was so smart.
It was. It makes sense that he'd be involved in the events of the story in some capacity.

>And the random elf dwarf love interest to keep the women in the audience interested was smart too.
Eh. Yeah, she was there purely to attract a female demographic. I still enjoyed the character. She's my new elf-fu.

>And Radaghast The Meme was so very smart indeed.

I liked Radagast. It was nice that he showed up since they eliminated his role in the LOTR movies.

>Thor
>Wut wheelbarrow
Rewatch this shit you claim to enjoy.

>Excuse to make more money
Try forced to by conflicting contracts.

>I swallow the legolas shit because reasons
You're a fucking moron then.

>I want to bones her so it's OK
Are yoiu literally 12?

>I liked Rhadaghast
You're literally 12

>Rewatch this shit you claim to enjoy.

Did two days ago. Didn't trigger me in the least.

>Try forced to by conflicting contracts.
Explain.

>You're a fucking moron then.
For enjoying a character to something that isn't even 100% faithful to the source material regardless of if she's there or not? I guess I am then.

>Are yoiu literally 12?
>You're literally 12

Not for over a decade. But you go right on believing whatever the fuck you want.

Peter?

>Trigger
Yet you remember fuck all.
>Contracts
Google exists.
>Guess I am
Glad we agree
>Naw man, I'm 22
Wow, that's sad.
