Why is American beer so shit and why do they have such ugly labels?

Also ITT post your favourite beers.

>Spirits type of guy.

Alcohol tastes like piss.

Only acceptable beer in entire OP is James Boags and Coopers

What do American beer and having sex in a canoe have in common?

They're both fucking close to water.

Super Bock > everything else

>t. Untermensch.

Has anyone here tried the Tasmanian one?

Oldest brewery in Australia apparently.

I'm more a fan of super cock myself.

wtf i love australian beer now

>lagers

I remember having shit taste at 18 too

Budweiser is a BELGIAN beer (owned by InBev of Leuven), not an American one.

The Europeans have to take responsibility for that one.

>American

hahahahah

It's a symptom of their consumer society.

>Lager.
>Something teens drink.

Since when?

>not drinking Belgian style beers.

Budweiser is CZECH

blame the "Wends"

You all have shitty beers and labels lads.

Step aside plebs.

Why did pilsners even become a popular variety of larger when everyone agrees they taste like piss

>Stella
>Good
It's nothing special and you know it.

Those are some ugly ass labels lads.

It was created by Germans too.

How does that compare with Hobgoblin?

Stronger and less quaffable but thicker and more treacle-y

I like Sam Adam's new Rebel Double IPA

ITT
Euros start posting good beers but ones that come from breweries with a fraction of American "microbreweries" annual production and then state, "muh-microbreweries"

Hmmm, if I see it I'll have to try it. Hobgoblin pops up here every now and then.

microbreweries are normal breweries fag

Good lad, nice to see an American with taste

Not on Sup Forums....Euros treat them differently if we say we have plenty of good beer.

I've also had old speckled hen, old engine oil and one of St.Peters. I usually do German lagers, British ales, Belgians and u.s. microbreweries. I have a good brewery down the street with a taproom.

I can't stand VB unless I'm already drunk, then it's okay. Hahn, Coopers and James Boag's are good. Need to try out Emu XXXX and Toohey's.

Also what's West End like?

Paulaner
Tomislav
Amber Ozujsko
Karlovacko

...

Guinness
Double Chocolate Stout
Hugarden
Blanche De Bruxelles
Belhaven Mccallums
Hofbrau

I love this one.

Top 5:

Innis & Gunn
Shipyard Export
Sam Adams
La Fin du Monde
Rickard's red

Franziskaner + medium rare steak = tastegasm.

I was in Japan recently and toured some breweries specifically Kaurwisawa Brewery (it was crap btw but the packaging was beautiful) and they gave me a bunch of home-brewing magazines and international craft beer magazines. I was moderately surprised to read in the first sentence in the first article in the Japanese craft beer magazine that it outright said that, "Its of no surprise that American craft breweries have been at the vanguard of the industry as well as ecological sustainability. Surpassing older, more traditional methods in mainland Europe, while tried and true the times are changing and the world must keep pace".

Something to that effect I don't have an eidectic memory.

One of the best beers I ever had though was a "Red Ale" which I've never even heard of. Had it a few weeks back. The bottle was designed to be upside-down, something about the yeast redistributing and almost adding a second fermentation process. I call marketing bulkshit but the same practice is used in wine-making. So why not beer I suppose? It was $16 for a bottle of it so I only bought one.
