what do you guys think of the new Father John Misty stuff?
ive alway been a fan of his stuff but i was worried the new album would be too edgy or something but with these singles i think it might be the best album under the fjm moniker. im not a fan of the to mvs made up of random internet footage and stuff but regardless, i think we got a quality album coming our way.
I think you're a marketing person trying to hype this Hollywood shill.
Yes, fake indie rockers are part of the MSM.
Christopher Brown
whole album sounds like hes repeating bored in the usa. and i hate that song
Jaxon Watson
>Father John Misty >too edgy
kek, he's about as edgy as Anderson Cooper.
this is accurate
Logan Parker
I love his music but he's gone too far this time
Evan Harris
yep
>in b4 pitchfork gives it a 9.8 and he headlines all the (((festivals))) this summer
fake news
Henry Anderson
how the fuck did a drummer from fleet foxes become an indie icon that works with beyonce and lady gaga its not like he has critical acclaimed albums on his hands really makes me think
Oliver Allen
>indie working for Warner Brothers is 'indie' now?
The whole music scene is co-opted. It's legitimately psyops and propaganda.
The kids of today need to say fuck it and start again from the point where Gregg Ginn was in the mid 70s.
Thomas Reed
At least that song is somewhat memorable, the new ones suck.
Ian Anderson
hes still "indie" because he can't headline festivals yet
Jack Kelly

>working for Warner Brothers is 'indie' now Lanarkshire del rey is 'cult'
Anthony Jackson
yeah by 2017 standards Van Halen look like Fugazi.
FYI kids 'indie rock' was co-opted in the late 90s.
Joseph Myers
None of the American acts which seem established brands in my home and probably most of my country do not mean that much at all. I was watching about how one bloke in a pub with 12 records up north in the UK got a whole music scene going from is rock dj set on a Thursday evening.
It's much like that here now, our media doesn't have the power of communication it used to have, and the audience is a barrel of monkeys
They missed the boat so
Jacob Allen
Yeah that's the one positive thing to come out of all of this.
Yeah, obviously the media is full of shit and can't be trusted.
But that's why it's also the best most important time to start a band or be an artist.
The youth need to once again establish an autonomous communication network.
Shit like FJM and Sub Pop are absolutely fraudulent.
The kids need to establish their own autonomous communication network.
Yeah, I hope I live to see bandcamp, soundcloud youtu.be e all be switched off
Jeremiah Sullivan
"""ghetto"""
I hiiiighly doubt any artist here grew up in a ghetto
Oliver Perry
The whole album is going to be smug ivory tower centrism. However I feel like if it was too leftist, it would be kind of cowardly because that's the status quo.
Lincoln Wright
He's massively miscalculated this project
Jayden Clark
Yes but it won't matter
Eli Adams
Just give me that new Fleet Foxes album instead of this fuck making another solo album
Cooper Parker
he was never on a fleet foxes album. he was a tour drummer for a couple years
Ryder Wilson
his whole biography is probably made-up bullshit.
Xavier Lopez
He's not "in" anymore
Owen Hernandez
kek, wouldn't doubt it. First time I heard of him was when Lana Del Rey was name dropping him, which in retrospect, seems just about right.
Kevin Powell
I wish
Caleb Diaz
Just the name of this jerk makes you know he's some ivory tower elitist. Like he can just "be a Priest guys!" without ever being one because religion is all a joke anyway hahaha, allah akbar though *bow to Allah* *tip*. He probably ironically quotes The Bible on Twitter too "Jesus was a refugeeeeee hehe"
Fuck this guy.
Logan Wood
I cant tell what level of irony this guy is on. I guess it doesnt matter, his music is boring either way.
