Fight club

I just watched fight club for the first time and holy shit it was a ride.

Any of you lads up for a discussion it?

At what point did you lads realize he was Tyler?

For me it was when Bob died

For me it was a couple of years before I pressed play

what are you 12 fagit

Nah, I just don't often watch films but I finally felt like watching something and this was recommended to me.

What do you think the message was OP?

If you try to bitch out you lose your sack?

I realized it when I read the book. But the film is extremely well done.

I find it interesting how nobody draws comparisons between Fight Club and Seven Years in Tibet since they have similar themes about finding your identity as a man, and both star Brad Pitt.

...

I'm new to watching films and shit to be honest, I was just in the mood today but if Seven Years in Tibet is good, I'd be up for watching it at some point.

I think the next film I will watch will be American psycho/

I'm a newfag when it comes to Sup Forums I just wanted to discuss the film I just watched with people who are interested in films lad.

American Psycho is a great choice

Watch Oldboy (the original one). It's very different in essence but it has some amazing takes on psychology and philosophy in the same way Fight Club has. Same with A Clockwork Orange.

you should spend a few month watching movies and lurking Sup Forums before you start posting here, fag

Seven Years in Tibet is good but it's not a noob film. Start with basic bitch stuff like Fight Club and work your way up to it.

Will do man, I'll do the samething for Sup Forums as I did for /heem/, I'll make a document for films to watch like I did with fights to watch.

Use this chart if you like

xd can i post this to /r/Sup Forums??
simply ebin

Why, I don't plan on posting often, its just I wanted to talk about this film so I started a thread about it. I don't intend on doing this for every film I watch it was just this one I wished to talk about.

I get newfags on boards are generally pretty shit but I don't really see what I did wrong here. If you can point out to me where I went wrong in the OP it would help.

Yeah fuck capitalism dude. Don't let the man keep you down, anarchy is the solution

Cheers man, I will seen some of them on there and the ones I have seen on there are all real good in my opinion so I'm looking forward to watching them.

fight club is a movie that everyone wants to talk about as soon as they see it for the first time (usually around the age of sixteen) so it's one of the most over discussed movies out there. you would have known this if you had lurked for a while before posting

Alright thank you, however if it is a movie everyone wants to talk about after seeing it don't you think it is worthy for discussion?

In the future before I want to talk about a film I'll give it a bit of time and see if anyone else makes a thread.

>You have to spend your life watching movies so you can talk about the one single movie you wanted to talk about, which is actually based on a book.

What did you think of the CG sex scene?

What did OP wish to discuss about the film?

glad that a guy who doesn't watch films came onto a board for film enthusiasts.

So you gunna check out Batman Dark Knight Rises one day???

...

Is there a website for these?

It was spoiled for me before I even read the book. The guy I borrowed it from told me the twist as he was loaning it to me. Thanks a lot, Conrad. It didn't lessen my enjoyment.

When the movie came out, I expected it to be shitty. It wasn't, even though they changed the ending.

This movie gets shit on a lot here, I suppose because it was Babby's First Existentialism for a lot of people and they see it as immature. Fuck it. It's a good movie that has something to say, however obvious it might seem, and is still fun.

My bad I thought this board was for the discussion of tv and films, I didn't realize you have to be an enthusiast to have opinions and thoughts about them and wish to discuss them.

6All these wannabe patricians hating on the best young mens movie in 30 years

The last 5 minutes of the film sat with me badly in comparison to the rest of the film. I'm not sure how I would have preferred it to end but it just felt weird that him and the girl just stood there and watched the buildings blow up.

naw man, people on Sup Forums and Sup Forums LOVE it when some idiot comes in and asks about Sailor Moon or Captain America. It's so often undiscussed.

OooooOoooOooo STOP

You know just because you browse this board doesn't mean you have to go into every thread you're uninterested in and give a display on how you're uninterested in the thread.

I'm not making you open this thread read the replies and then make your own one.

I made the thread with the intention to talk with other anons that wished to talk about the film and are interested in it.

It's oddly upbeat and idealistic compared to the rest. If you haven't read the book, check it out.

Is it still worth reading the book despite seeing the film? I hear the film is well done and if the suspense and mystery is missing will it still be enjoyable?

You're an unfun bag of dicks.

Honestly. if he wants to see the film unspoiled, why would he lurk around threads and shit about the movie before seeing it?

Yes. There are scenes in the book that aren't in the movie, and the protagonist's thoughts about things are explored in a way that doesn't always come through on the screen.

>At what point did you lads realize he was Tyler?
When Rosie O'Donnell said it on national tv during its opening week to dissuade people from watching the movie because she didn't like it.

That fucking cunt

...

*everything crashes down*

That's pretty much the complete opposite of what the films about. Good shit mate

>American psycho
Great film, don't expect anything but memes if you try to make a thread about it though.
