It's an above average flick with great visuals. It's not a sequel or an adaptation and even most critics gave it a positive review. The internet just love to hate on it because it's popular.

Those blue guys represent the native American Indians that were all nature lovers, but had to technology. Also, that white old guy literally said "how does it feel to be a trace traitor?", since the other white guy was helping those blue guys.

all the marketing was about how good the 3D was and how the spent so much money on it, turns out the 3D effect wasn't even very good at all, even at IMAX
