>affirmative action p4k-core

I only heard it once and liked it but nothing from January has seemed to tower above the rest. I'm tempted to pick an aotysf but I've enjoyed too many.

yeah samphas album could be it, but it could also be c u l t u r e from migos because that's full of life.

oh wow it's another black artists being praised for making mediocre RnB / Hiphop because he is black

#fuckwhitepeople

What's the longest album you've heard? Miss Tara's album is 2.5 hours so I initially picked that when it came out but it didn't stand up to scrutiny over the next week.

...

Nah. It is good though.

Imagine getting this threatened by an anonymous opinion about an album you haven't heard on an anime imageboard

OP is right, unless you count RTJ3 as a 2017 release.

Nah rym removed it from 2017. I mean I'm not opposed to it or anything.

I am just bored that it has been like that for the last few years

in my family's native language "sampha" is actually the word for "trash"

between that and his face, i've never listened to this guy and don't plan to

this album was such a disappointment man and is so boring. I gave it 5 listens and it didn't grow on me. I'm glad you liked it that much though.

It's even worse when you remember Sup Forums is 99% whte

Thank you for using a tripcode.

garbage taste

>oh wow it's another black artists being praised for making mediocre RnB / Hiphop because he is black

this. it was a let down.

stop feeling guilty white people it's okay to say this sometimes.

...

I am neither a nigger nor a "guilty" guy, but I genuinely think it's 9/10.

lol i know dude

it's good but not THAT good. I don't like 3 songs on it (Blood on Me, Kora Sings and Incomplete Kisses)

i'm just fucking with you m8 chill

I'm not an op dude

Haha fuck black people am I right? Praise kek xD

Sublime.

this also:
Paul White - Everything You've Forgotten
Fred Thomas - Changer
Priests - Nothing Feels Natural

I've heard most of those and I'd agree that Foxygen is best and I haven't heard anything else that towers above it. Foxygen made inaugeration day particularly memorable.

I'm also extremely glad to see a power gap between flaming lips and gone is gone

I've only listened to two albums so far. Pic releated was the better one.

Link related had me hyped after hearing the self titled single track, but the rest of the album didn't really follow through.

I haven't listened to that many but this is my EPOTY. Burials side although both are really good.

burialspdx.bandcamp.com/album/burials-exhausted-prayer-split-lp

I don't have a concrete best of the year so far, but these are the 3 closest to being the front-runner to that:

Foxygen - Hang
Paul White - Everything You've Forgotten
The xx - I See You

i liked the new Flaming Lips but it definitely was a noticeable step down from The Terror.

honest question: is that Mouth Moods thing worth listening to? or it just a literal meme?

If you're listening from your phone then literally no. You have to install Soundcloud unless you've already done that then sure. It's literal garbage and I'm a huge spirit phone fan. He's making this face on the cover for a reason I promise.

...

Is Miss Tara the only album over 90 minutes so far?

What a truly awful day. Let's not forget that pic related died on the 20th too
I've yet to listen to a middle of the road album yet. Everything so far has been either bad or good.

To answer both questions... yes.

Agreed

Unless you have to install Soundcloud on your phone. Then literally no.

Well then just download the album from free or just use a PC.

Free = pirate?

Have One On Me is like 3 hours.

totally obsessed with the new Fennec album that came out yesterday fennecsound.bandcamp.com

Foxygen album was pretty tight too

same, they took that L when they chose to make it a christmas day release

white insecurity comment

But that's a re-release?

Miss Tara has some remixes etc so it might get down to about 2 hours

Bump for only the best

You can download the album for free on his website

Ah interesting thanks

No its not.

Absolute garbage

> Shitty Album Rating Guy !mSHITVu4Wg

But you weren't bored of them liking shitty untalented white bread indie bands for the first 14 years of their existence?

This album is amazing. No one hating has listened to it. Dude has a great voice and strong songwriting & production skills.

you clearly didn't listen to it because its barely RnB or Hiphop. its basically indie pop. Kora Sings sounds like a passion pit song

Whiteness is one hell of a drug.

The first truly great Country album of 2017.
The new Tift Merritt is also quite good.

the julie byrne was alright
