The new album "Algae Blooms" was basically a lot of improvisation through delay or reverb, depending on the track.

This guitar, especially right at the start, reminds me of Swell Maps.
Very cool sound, like psych-post-punk, I'm here for that.
Eternal rec, one of the best dudes in these threads right now.
Really sweet and pleasant voice. Production quality is pretty nice too

This is very very cool, very weird, love this mix of instruments, not enough musicians are making competent and weird straight avant-garde like this. Keep it up, my dude.
>Really sweet and pleasant voice. Production quality is pretty nice too
I really appreciate that.
I love your voice, and this production is great, sounds sort of like a mix of Stereolab and Mercury Rev (Deserter's Songs era). Very dreamy and jazzy.
Thanks for kind words, good sir! I don't know that I'd put myself that high up, but thanks!
Thank you man, Keep making your folk. You really seem to have the voice for it. And thank you man, much love. That means a ton.

i feel so fucking sad right now, i dont even want to write about my stuff to share with you guys.
gonna listen your stuff to cheer up a little bit i guess.
I really like the glitchy-ness of the first track. I found the second track to be a bit challenging, but again, I like challenges. Humble and Lonely was pretty great too, but Stop Saying That has to be my fav

really great instrumentals, a little iffy on the vox, feels like they could use some better mixing, effects and maybe like more intense melody
complexity is best track
love it when the textures get really thick here, love how it just keeps building, cool stuff.
love how sparse and simple these songs, but also feel like they could use some filling out with more instruments. definitely see the bobby dylan influence

really liking the instrumentation. very upbeat. artworks cool too.
great avant garde stuff. pretty challenging stuff
i like how chaotic this track gets towards the end. all the layering of the loops is well done
march maybe? still need to make two songs
there will be physical copies
i like the lyrics, pretty well written. the voice and guitar sound kinda weird though, your voice sounds very distant and the acoustic is very echoey.
the drive home was particularly beautiful was particularly good, might eventually listen to more of the songs on here whenever i have more time. don't really have any particular criticisms, it's a perfectly well made song, nothing really needs any tweaking. sounds very well recorded too.
skipped around the first track, this isn't my type of thing. sorry! just a bit too repetitive and not much going on,
quietly sobbing knowing i'll never top a study in noise

Recorded this acoustic EP to release during Bandcamp's ACLU fund drive, with all proceeds after BC's cut going to Planned Parenthood. Currently I'm matching all donations, to be donated on Monday.
>that no response feel
I absolutely love the first track. The very ambient guitar getting saturated by the delay, and that euro-beat with it really makes me feel like I am on a quiet new york street driving really fast. Alone at sea and Harbour side were also really great. Great production too
and thank you for giving my stuff a listen. I hope to hear more of your guys stuff

An unrelenting experience
This is pretty cool. I like the blend of noisy psych with garage rock. I also enjoyed the 10-minute psychedelic fuzz-fest. The guitarist is fucking awesome, by the way. Keep it up!
I love your experimental tendencies. Your concepts are quite fascinating and I'd to hear what you'd do in the future. I hope you like Matmos because your progressive take on avant-garde music will take you places.
Fuck, this is weird! I always love musicians who keep challenging their listeners so keep this up. Good luck trying to find an audience though.
Good songwriting and production. It's nice to hear someone from rural Wisconsin doing what they love.
I can definitely hear the Glenn Branca influence on this track. I checked out your earlier material and I liked the original blend of glitch, drone, and ambient.
I have to say, there are quite a few avant-garde musicians here trying their all. I must commend them.
I was caught off guard by your voice. I like it, reminds me of a cross between Murder By Death and Joy Division.
I love how this first track builds. I'm really digging that drone

You're a fantastic musician and I'm sorry you're down. Much love.
I appreciate that, and yeah, I'm gonna be trying that going forward. I wanted an empty, echoey feeling for this one and it ain't perfect.

Yeah, see above. I wanted a specific sound for better or worse. Thanks for the feedback, I very much appreciate it.

Good shit, definitely going to follow you on spotify for the sake of actually listening to you. A Study in Noise makes me want to smash shit in a good way.
Try to keep your head up man. I enjoy the music, so definitely keep that up.
Listening to this now. You've got me with the bowed guitar. That's a good fucking sound that really stands out compared to some of the other stuff on here. Only complaint is I wish you did some more EQ work on some of the tracks. Some of the higher frequencies are especially rough/abrasive in ways that they don't need to be. Maybe this is the sound you were going for, but that's just my honest opinion on it. Good stuff though.

ooh, that's not a compliment i get often! the glitch/drone/ambient side of me is still going to be part of my music, but in a smaller amount. there definitely will be moments on the new album reminiscent of those days.
>A Study in Noise makes me want to smash shit in a good way.
how do you smash shit in a good way?
some people (or at least me) get turned off by memey looking pictures and think it's going to be a stupid mess of maymays even when your music may or may not be ( i wouldn't know, haven't heard it! ) also it's a bit tough to fit in to the circlejerk of the threads, try your best to give as much feedback as possible to guilt people into listening to your music. also maybe work on better album art.

Hi,
We've posted our second demo two days ago on bc.

I just put up a new 6 track moments ago.
Also, I recently made my discography super cheap (2.50) and it's 19 releases in total.
Hello, i'm a bedroom self-taught musician from Russia, sorry in advance for my lame eng.
I made this album not so long ago and for some time i've been busy with sending it to a couple theme public groups in our social network, it gain some attention (very little ofc, nearly faint), but in the process suddenly i found that beyond ru net i know practically nothing of how diy homemade fucks, such as myself, search for listeners/feedback in the eng net,
I'm not talking bout commercial success, of course. It's just that i cant even determine style/genre myself, i've never bothered myself with those thoughts while playing/recording.
So, i'm asking for any feedback and any advice you can give about where should i put it (up the ass, in the window, etc) and what audience should i search, is it even worth it.
Basically it can be described as math/a little noise rock, instrumental, i guess. I prefer to call it simply a dance music (cause you can dance to it), it was only conception i had in mind while recording it.
