Fake Plastic Love is way sadder than Motion Picture Soundtrack

Mazzy Star - Look On Down From The Bridge
youtube.com/watch?v=LwVXkM_YxMg

there's a lot more despair in Motion Picture Soundtrack
Fake Plastic Trees is still an incredible song though, maybe the best from The Bends

>not True Love Waits
Prove me wrong.

youtube.com/watch?v=HhrzIPu-bdA

I WILL SEEEEE YOOOOU
IN THE NEEEEEEEXT LIIIIIIIIIIFEEEE

only the live version

Motion Picture Soundtrack always felt more bittersweet while Fake Plastic Trees feels so pitiful and hopeless.

To a Husband at War

I've been shilling this album so hard lately idk why

>not picking how to disappear completely
wew

While I obviously do like it, I think your judgement may be clouded by the whole cancer thing.

I'd go with this user

Karen Dalton - Something On Your Mind

youtube.com/watch?v=y0nzVF8SiNM
I feel everytime

>The One With the Wurlitzer

It's "How to Disappear Completely".

for me its
>true love waits
>motion picture soundtrack
>no surprises
>let down
the pleb choices that are always brought up as the saddest songs are
>how to disappear completely
>fake plastic trees

God, this song. It's simply spectacular

touch decision though

i changed my mind

tell me more about how against the mainstream you are :^)

It really is. One of the only songs I've ever listened to that basically brought me to tears.

god this song. It's not even depressing but it somehow just blankets you with a feeling of helplessness to the time passing

I feel the opposite. MPS is just despair while Fake Plastic Trees honestly tries to overcome its own hopelessness and, briefly, actually does it
Their most depressing song is prob Videotape, at least for me. Everything falls apart.

Most Mazzy Star songs have that vibe. Some of their best songs, if you're interested:

Fade Into You

Be My Angel

Cry, Cry

Halah
youtube.com/watch?v=jzWYUomBpwg

HTDC isnt even sad really, id think either Daydreaming or LIAGH

For me it's The Summer Ends

Love this album tho

Pinocchio Story.

The Smiths - This night has opened my eyes

youtube.com/watch?v=ERTypicAjEs

great taste.
Half A Person is actually the saddest Smiths song though.
youtube.com/watch?v=n_yWVPHrnlI

Pyramid song.

IMO it's asleep.
I know that's probably a plebiscite choice but it's just so hopeless to like like just completely giving up on life.

Jackson C. Frank - Milk and Honey

Frank Ocean - Wither

Ween - It's Gonna Be (Alright)

Jeff Rosenstock - Polar Bear or Africa

Young Thug - Webbie

Any help for Burial's saddest song?
I mean Untrue as a whole could be the prime contender.

>musical interlude after 2 minutes
