I recommend this. The intensity in your music gets me pumped. I would buy tickets to see you guys live.
Once you get past the intial challenging noise, It pays off really well. I like the vocals, and the absolute wall of noise and sound. The mixing and production is really good too
Recommended
The vocals and drums are a bit too loud imo, but the instrumentation is really nice and fuzzy. I like the aesthetic you are going for

this made me fell like i'm not that bad a drummer.
maybe i just don't get it, but the fills that go over bar lines don't always sound like he's realized how many beats he's payed.
I haven't listened to all of these yet but out of sampling all of you guys I really like these three the best.
I know it's not a bandcamp but it is self-promotion, but I have a normiebook music blog where I post all sorts of stuff @ normiebook/CloseAtEar/
Would you guys be against me posting your stuff? I only have like 58 likes but I plan on boosting the page after I get my tax returns.

pretty intense! although i think songwriting-wise i think it would have added to the music if you had some clean vocals during the quiet parts
but yeah i enjoyed this.
oh, i remember you. downloaded your basic terror ages ago, still think it's neat. your vocals remind me of the singer from HEALTH (even though the music is wildly different, heh). downloaded.
thanks a bunch!
as for your stuff, im not massively into downtempo so i cant really give any decent crit here. did enjoy the tracks i listened to though
>lads that could use a bit of your attention
I actually think needs a little less attention, its a link with two songs that has been copied and pasted at the top of these threads for months.
oh this is me btw
you know who it is
there's more songs on his soundcloud, i don't know why his dumb ass doesn't upload them to his bandcamp as well. i've told them a few times he just says 'got more music on my soundcloud'
>heavier than a death in the senpai
after listening to the title track, i definitely have to say the world needs more trap music poking fun at poor man's fushitsusha. i found the hihat sound really annoying, though. maybe a less painful one on the ears would've been better. I'd say to tone the bass down a little bit but this is trap so maybe that's a bit of an insult. are you sampling LRD? i can't tell because i don't listen to lame bands like those anymore. mizutani hate aside, that was a really good song.
listened to telefony. i expected nicer and better recorded vocals to be honest. the way it's mixed they don't sound at all like they're in the same room as the instruments. i don't like the vocalist at all. i'm not a fan of HANL, also consider the fact that i have a deep intolerance for anything remotely shoegazey except for the first LSD and the search for god ep.

shit bro that's a little hot roast there for LRD lmao. The clipping and exaggerated sounds are all intentional, I was thinking of the scariest rapper in the game when I made that track. And it's actually not an LRD sample, what's your favorite fushitsusha release?

i haven't listened to much fushitsusha, i personally am more into the man himself keiji, but it's a tough choice between 1st or the last CD in Soul's True Love.

>poor man's fushitsusha
You do realize LRD existed before Fushitsusha, right?
Yes, I know that. being first isn't the same as being the best, though. maybe that was a bad phrase to use, since it implies it came first. my bad, sorry.
Understood. I like both bands equally, but they have two different approaches to noise rock, so I cannot accurately compare the two.
Oh that'd be great, go ahead! Dropped a like, I do dig these kinda fb music rec sites.
aw that's fair enough. might have to look into vocal processing/mixing more. seems to be a gripe a few people have w my stuff. cheers for the crit tho!

This is nice, I'm not personally a fan of the mixing, very bassy and muddled, nothing peaking out in the highs. which could work for me if the instruments weren't so aggressively panned. Personal taste though, keep being you.
hi
It was a pain in the ass trying to eq the guitar to make it stand out since my guitar tone seemed to change with every guitar pedal I pushed. The aggressive panning was to recreate the live experience of the recording and where everyone was positioned, since it was recorded in one take. The bassist I played with was also initally baffled by the mixing choice so you're not alone there.
I like Takashi's cheekbone's so I have to choose him.
how tall is keiji?
5 foot something, I'd imagine
...
Observing that photo, at least 5 foot. But then again, he's standing further from the rest of the band members so it makes him look shorter.

Just Released Today!
scheduled to post your stuff at 2 on the 8th. Also, I really like the fifth track, I know the point of the thing was to be covers but it was pretty well done in my opinion, as well as track 1. I personally didn't have a problem with the vocal production myself either but I listen to a lot of poor-quality recordings like black metal and folk so.
i had this picture of jim and haino together but now i can't find it. He is 5'3" and they're relatively the same height or maybe shorter than jim.
here he is next to Melvins. can't find their exact heights but boy haino is a tiny little man.
