Well I always viewed Cut Hands Has the Solution as an anti-suicide song. It like pic related, instead of whiny snivel and bullshit, it just outright says "do it faggot, nobody cares, if you're weak enough to do it, you're worthless".
Also I understood lyrics to Philosophy as connected with the theme of suicide. All that with the door metaphor, and talk about the life's tragedies. I love how harsh and hateful this album is, while still being honest and almost motivating you to live. Or at least, that's the way I interpret the songs, maybe they were just trying to be edgy fuckers, I don't care, but it certainly cheers me up.

William Bennett is definitely more than some edgy "hurr hurr do it feg" writer. Given he wanted to take the original Industrial movement of people who used aesthetic extremism for a certain cause and make it even more extreme, he's obviously a concept writer like the artists who came before him and probably has his own cause to pound into your head.
