How to improve this, especially the mixing? Can the bass be heard clearly and are the drums loud? clyp.it/4cvwgq44

Why is Gibson still the guitar behemoth it is today with their shitty quality control and mismanagement, not to mention with the illegal wood import fiasco several years back?
Christian Young
Its already been proven the headstock doesnt just snap off youre youre in a tard fit on the internet
Xavier Thomas
Reposting for Ibenhad.
Sent it back a couple of days ago for replacement, no idea when the new stock will arrive in. Will have to email GAK to see if there's a rough eta.

It just proves no matter how shitty they are that theyre still better than the competition

Headstock breaks on Gibsons are only a problem for retards.
Billy Gibbons has taken Pearly Gates around the world several times and never managed to break the headstock. He toured with that Les Paul for almost 30 years.
All you poorfags can cry really hard now.

Jonathan Collins
see, they can design a headstock that won't break off
Gavin Richardson
Brand recognition and they're really not as bad as people say. The only Gibsons I've truly hated have been 70s era guitars. Had a 1977 Byrdland that was an absolute piece of shit, still managed to sell it for $4500 to a retarded Ted Nugent fan lol
They were way worse in the 70s and 80s than they are now.

Is there any way to activate multiple pedals with one switch? I am playing a few songs live that require me to go between tight distortion to super clean reverb, delay, and chorus plus swithc channels quickly several times. It's a pain playing that fucking arcade dance game everytime I need to change sounds
Ayden Hughes
>muh anecdotal evidence
Zachary Carter
Aren't there pedals which take in the outputs from all your pedals, and you can set it up so you can have 3 pedals outputting, then another different 3, etc.
No idea what they're called, but surely they exist?

Couple things you can do.
Bypass loop. Wired like a true bypass pedal, but instead of leads running to and from a circuit board they runs to jacks. Pedals must be on before hand but one switch brings them all in.
If you never layer the pedals you can use 2 aby boxes.
Brody Allen
bypass loop pedal
i would use one with my wah because i would just cock it and then use the bypass pedal to engage it rather than having to turn the wah on and find the right spot in the middle of a song
Honestly surprised you can count with how stupid you obviously are. Lol. The popular memes always come up first in the search. >2017 >not knowing how google works

hnnnnnnng dan auerbach has a custom exactly like that one and he fucking shhhhhrrrreeeedddzzz
Alright, you've just been gifted a free custom guitar built exactly how you want it, to your exact specs. How do you build it? What woods? What shape? What pickups? Everything.
I'll go first: >6 strings >bolt on construction >superstrat/soloist shape >24 frets >alder body >flamed maple top in blue >Original Floyd Rose >2 humbuckers >DiMarzio pickups >maple neck >rosewood fretboard >dot inlays >push pull coil splitter >black hardware
Your turn.
Aiden Myers
i just want a guitar that feels nice to play..
recommend me something?
Not Fender. Everything Fender makes feels cheap and thrown together. An actual Fender probably costs 100 to make, since it's basically the cheapest kind of build out there. But you have to pay for the name so it's actually 1000. What a fucking ripoff.
Jayden Nguyen
Eastman Semi-Hollow feels more like a high-end guitar like a Collings than a Gibson.
Alexander Harris
>7 strings for ez B standard and E Standard >25.5 scale length >trem style saddles but hardtail >super strat body >satin neck finish, Matte white body finish with a red pin stripe around edge and a solid racing strap with two parralel pin stripes that are the width of the bridge in total >locking nut >EMG 81 in bridge >EMG 85 in neck
Henry Jackson
Well, Fenders are the best instruments I've touched. To each their own.
Elijah Rivera
Nipponese Ibanez

Seconding this. Japanese made Ibanez guitars are works of art.

Guys, can you recommend a great practice amp for me from this selection?
>Fender Mustang I for 65 euros >Orange CR20L for 75 euros >Vox Valvetronix AD30VT for 80 euros
which one would you get? I really want a good clean tone, that's my priority. Plus, I think I wanna try out a modeling amp with the effects and whatnot. Does the one tube in the Vox make any difference at all? Thanks , guys!
Matthew Harris

Owen Brooks
Blues jr
Cameron Howard
>65 euros >75 euros >80 euros im sure nothing really matters at that price range and all you'll be getting is an amp that sounds like shit
can you not practice without an amp because cheap amps are fucking detrimental to your ears and sounds better without one
Jason Powell
out of the ones you listed id probably go for the valvetronix
yamaha thr series makes the best practice amps though
Sebastian Watson
>5 strings >neck thru >modern shape with out looking asinine Looking at you Marleauz and Jens Ritter >24 medium jumbo fanned fret, 35"-37" scale >ebony fretboard with celtic/norse glyph inlays, mother of pearl Don't really care about body wood. I'm not a member of the toanwood cult. Just something that can handle weather and dings. >Bartolini active P/J pick ups >Black gloss body with airbrushed vampire queen on front >chrome hardware, high mass bridge, locking nut, locking tuners I want to tune it once per month max
Nicholas Foster
desu if you're buying a big name label you're just asking for trouble
Connor Bell
What's the best tone wood?
Eli Bailey
All ebony
Thomas Martinez
don't have the cash for a blues jr atm practicing without an amp is terrible, I've been doing it for a while now since using a half stack in my room sucks. I'm not naive, I know I won't get great sound out of those amps, but don't tell me that they'll all sound like shit no matter what I do. Yeah I think I'm gravitating toward the Valvetronix as well. But I've heard they have a tendency to crap out. Btw, can you record with the amp plugged in your computer like you can with the Mustang?
Isaac Martin
Balsa, for maximum vibration for longer sustain.
Elijah Rogers
i'm sure you've used a shitty amp before, how can you even consider doing it again
David Carter
>sorry, Mr. Fender, but the Tonewoods are safe and sound in my tone vault right next to my office. I'm afraid your guitars will never have proper tone with those *smirks* alder--- Bodies.
Watch this shit. This is tonewood faggotry at its finest.
I hate PRS so much. Not to mention he's a gigantic fucking douche to anyone that interview him. It's cringe sitting watching an interview with him because of how much of an ass he is.
Dylan White
Post your favorite jazz guitar albums, I need some recs.
the mustang amps are cool, you can plug it in the computer and mess with the patches

Bill Frisell - Guitar in the Space Age
Bill's a wonderful guy

Day 7 of waiting on this in the mail. Will probably come today or tomorrow.
Paid $1kaud when they usually go for $1600.
Oliver Baker
He sounded like somewhat a decent person in the interviews from the 80s when they started, but these days all those airs he's amassed make it insufferable and believes the hype he fabricates. However, I found it nice in that video when he surprised the Captain with a custom model during NAMM a few weeks back, despite them both being grade-A spergs. youtube.com/watch?v=1qwlon8Hjl4

Truly the apple of the guitar world.
Ryder Thompson
>hhhh >flying v extra spiky >skull inlays >rosewood fretboard made from reclaimed ibanez gio fretboards glued together >black finish with a green and yellow burst at the edge >gold hardware >27 fret >floyd rose >set neck >output jack routed through neck and out headstock >onboard metal zone with no controls, everything dimed out >always on >10 string >kill switch mounted on back of guitar inside body cut >controls (three volume, five tone) mounted on neck >min-e-tune
Jacob Martinez
Bcuz forcing a lifeless instrument into an otherwise good, eclectic blend of instruments is lame and boring

But you have to be updated. And if I don't update you, you will have no news. That is a terrible thought.
Who will give you your news on my guitar?

He's such a douche. He's rude, thinks he's being funny but isn't. And loves to hear himself talk. He'll interrupt you if you don't let him talk enough.
>trade in my guitar because my fingers lock up on me fretting 6 strings >mfw just by holding it i could tell it was something i'd want to play

What am I supposed to be seeing? Looks good to me. My Indonesian made Ibanez is fine except for some sharp fret edges, but that's more from the wood shrinking than them not filing them properly.
I've got a Japanese made Ibanez, my first ever, in the mail at this moment. It should arrive in a week.
Tyler Johnson
Fret inlays are supposed to be offset. Nobody knows how it happened.
