Grammy edition:
old thread
/metal/
Has anyone ever included guitar picks with their album before? The Grammys give awards for packaging.
Stop listening to metal.
And Meshuggah released this album one week after the deadline for Grammy nominations. Was this part of their master plan? That gives them a whole year to campaign for it.

Terminal Memedux - Recharging the Meme
and I didnt recognize any of them so I was especially unsure
Alternatively, Ne Obliviscaris' new annum might become the Vektor of 2017.
No meme bands or albums are allowed to be mentioned past this post
My definition of current trad is anything with heavy 80s influences that isn't obviously thrash, death or black. The stuff on the chart runs the gamut of USPM, speed, NWOBHM, old-school prog -- not meant to be the last word on the subject, just a starter kit.

This just in: Nickleback goes djent
What are some February albums worth checking out? I thought Curse of Denial, Galactic Empire, Nailed to Obscurity, and Mo'ynoq were solid, but nothing too great.
What the fuck
screencap
>Modern Nickelback is heavier than modern Mastodon
What went wrong?
That's what I said, m8.

>000000-0-00-0-00-000000
Is this supposed to be tablature?
yea
Yes. Djent is represented by plebs as a random string of 0s and 1s, sometimes hyphens.
I like it. There should be more tablature posting.
Anyone funeral doom friends in here?
Currently melting listening to pic related, haven't listened to it in a while I forgot how merciless it is
this comes correct
fuck yeah glad you like it
I found it just through some serious digging
Steve Grimmett, best known as the vocalist of Grim Reaper, and the one-time vocalist of Onslaught for the album, "In Search of Sanity," has undergone a partial-leg amputation.
:-(

bands like this and avenged sevenfold are revolting lads, get ready

Mgla-Mgla in space
Is it worth checking out the rest of Behemoth's discog if I like The Satanist?
Demigod was their last worthwhile album just like Isa was Enslaved's last
What kind of contrarian doesn't like Ruun, Axioma or RIITIIR?
you spelled Frost wrong
>Hefield is in one of the biggest bands in the world
>Has an accesible sound
>Multimillionaire
>Doesnt sing about gross shit
>Has a neck
>George Fisher can get a more attractive wife
Dead shores rising by deserted fear is good, possibley better if you prefer death over sympho
Oh you mean Isa, parts II, IV and V? They were ok I guess
Mastodon is better tho. Also sludge > generic avenged sevenfold riff
Have you not heard the new Mastodong?
That album better be good, it's been ages since Thonoc Crani
Sultans curse was good, hated show yourself

It is time to settle this once and for all.
Hello Sup Forums, do you have some other Metal albums with, on the cover, a big planet in the corner, like this album of Nocturnus ?
Also, I already know about the Vektor one, I'm looking for other covers in the same style.
...
listen to blood incantation
Encucked
Early King Diamond is prog metal.
fug, shoulda put this on there
you may like evangelion (although satanist is far better), everything before that was completely different. they made pure blackmetal in the beginning, then they changed their style for a bit of death metal on satanica and thelema, then went full brutal death metal for zos, demigod and apostasy, and finally turned it down a notch for evangelion and the satanist.
