Why is this never discussed here?

What is there to discuses? A 10/10 masterpiece of psychedelic pop. Very telling that it''s only 35 minutes long and the Zombies never released anything even close to this level again.

Can anyone recommend more chamber pop?

Its shit

kinks - village green preservation society
xtc - skylarking

Those are not chamber pop lol

I listened to it for the first time the other day
Sounded like a school band trying too hard to make Pet Sounds

How are these albums chamber pop?

this but as a compliment

Hung up on a Dream is legitimately the best song ever recorded.

i think you're thinking of baroque pop dude and even still i don't think wyatt fits at all. dope picks besides that however. love every single one of those albums

...

this album is talked about nearly every 2 days

how new are you?

I absolutely love this. Stuart Murdoch said that this is the sound he was always trying to emulate.

at least someone else here's heard it

>Forever Changes

Why the fuck does anyone think this is Baroque pop lol Is it just because it's a softer sound from that time?

Also my recommendations are the Curt Boettcher projects: Begin by The Millennium and Present Tense by Sagittarius. Also Would You Believe by Billy Nichols.

The Genuine Imitation of Life Gazette by The Four Seasons is extremely underrated. It's incredibly composed except kinda corny.

Last recommendation is Phil Spector's stuff. Just get a compilation of his stuff since his albums outside of the Christmas one and the Ronettes one aren't special.

Good recs. Also reccing Scott Walker's s/t albums (all 4) and Bill Fay's s/t.

great album, always been partial to ive got something on my mind aside from the singles everyone loves

What are the relevant memes?
What memes can be forced?
Is there anything at all that clearly distinguishes them from other acts in the genre?

Is there a qt in the band with borderline lewds?

This is how "discussion" is born.

>the Zombies never released anything even close to this level again.
That's because they went broke and broke up the band you dummy

I didn't like it and I like other similar things from the time period. I think it's really overrated.

What didn't you like about it?
