Great band

This is excellent

In a way, "industrial country" could probably be neofolk

Post-drone

Shoegaze black metal

Speaking of genres

What are some of Beck's most ambitious records, production wise? I just came across youtu.be/j5xhpIFxi7M and I'm dying to hear more of his less acoustic-ey stuff

>Industrial country
caroliner
>Shoegaze black metal

did you mean extra drony post rock or music that is a reaction to drone and uses the same techniques to do something different?

Guerilla Toss

Noise Turntablism.
Ive been messing around with hooking up my turntable to an amp and turning up the pregain it so it gets a nice reverby static going. Am I over here making innovations? It seems like a pretty simple concept people would have thought of by now.

most of Ground-Zero's stuff

I mean Odelay and Guero were both produced by the Dust Brothers who did Paul's Boutique, but a lot of Beck's stuff has always had delta blues slide guitar influence. I recommend "the Information" "Midnite Vultures" or "Modern Guilt" (the latter of which is prod. Danger Mouse) if you want his more electronic-based stuff

...

roll

Some Christian Marclay stuff could be described as this and also

Roll

Kenny G maybe

Oh nice now its a shitpost thread. This was meant to find out genres we were actually interested to see if they exist, not to flood it with "roll" posts that may or may not be obvious or nonsensical
