Hey guys,
I've been posting music here as Will Seifert since about May of last year when I finished my first EP. I've been working on a second EP when I get the chance but am unfortunately busy and low and resources in college. However, I would like to know if anyone wants to listen to one of the songs I've been working on (unfinished). If you wanna let me know what you think I'd really appreciate it, thanks a ton
Loving this dude: Well made in the production sense. For that type of music, however, I couldn't care less.
Solid, loud, I think a bit too compressed but that's maybe something that gets solved with headphone listening. I'll look through more of your stuff hoping it's not the same thing over and over.
>link not working Dropped. >I made this song in garage band. Most of my other tunes are in fruity loops. Double drop. Heard "Mischief Managed" though. Not much to add to these 50 seconds really.
Contribute and I'd might give you a spin and some words. Just don't shill your stuff like idiots, please?
>People who post links and shill themselves after 5-10 posts without participating in any feedback/discussion are unwelcome and should be ignored. You're just asking for it
its 6am and i wrote this about an hour ago. this is my first attempt at writing an acoustic song, historically i've only been in black metal and d-beat bands. give me hell
supermagnet.bandcamp.com/ I try to make every album in a different style, so far I've made: Unexplained Aerial Bursts >lo-fi indie rock with shoegaze, ambient, and space rock influences Only Here to Leave >lo-fi folk and indie rock, sad music cosmodrome >instrumental space ambient, synths and guitars, tape samples, UFO shit The American >angry folk, influenced by protest/political folk music, punk, and post-punk
Got a new album that'll be done soon. Smash Mouth tweeted my music once.
This sounds really nice, I'd replace the word "epic" and leave the "Dedicated for those who are wandering the Earth, looking for answers..." part away, though.
The mixing has something nice to it, the chord progression is kinda run of the mill, though.
>ambient >drone >noise >split-release with a buddy of mine; whole album revolving around the juxtaposition of the flesh and architecture surrounding it
Where's the Sun Body (sunbody.bandcamp.com/album/sun-body) guy? I'm currently listening to it an enjoying it but the post-rockish bits are rather tired and unadventourus. Would love to remix it for fun though!
I use third-party aggregator service like tunecore. It costs 40$ for releasing an album for a year so that they distribute your music into major music premium service such iTunes (requires 3 weeks) and luckily enough Spotify just takes two days for approving my music album. Anyway, i just use my yt earning to release my album and pay the service via paypal (i dont live in u.s)

Could anybody help me gettjng hold of a kanye west video? Its the flashing lights martin de thura version, it was on vimeo but was deleted less than a day ago i think and ive started to search it since
>Sampling, Experimental, Adult Swim Weird Shit, i dont know what this is
Like the synths, good stuff
Beautiful Production, seriously

We don't use samples! Thanks dude.

Very relaxing, love it Too much things are going on, gives me a headache. Mini break is fantastic but is way too short (I guess that's what make it mini but still) Home and You are not here are my favorite tracks of yours Very strange but I like it My favorite, never heard something as good on those threads before
>scrugley.bandcamp.com/ Listened to Transient Life. Heartbreaking in a way. Love the tone of the piano. When it kicks in, it REALLY kicks in. Love the guitar tone.
>supermagnet.bandcamp.com/ Listening to Unexplained Aerial Bursts. I like the songs with more structure (Chicago) but the album flows well from track to track. Nice transitions.
Digging it, keep it up bois soundcloud.com/willsantana97 I make lo-fi instrumental hip hop, Inspired by pro era, nujabes, J dilla, joji Im relatively new to producing so some feed back is greatly appreciated

Yeah this is def repetetive, i would blame it on the drums mostly, you can make them more human making some hits delayed and some ghost hits here and there you know keep it interesting and dynamic.
Your songwriting is good man, arrangements are on point. I would look into production, make shit pop boi. Like just 10 min of mastering would help most of your songs i think.
2deep4me, idk what you are trying to do.
You should get into making some visual pieces for this, i feel it would enhance it greatly.
This is great man, loving the rythms. Mix could use some work. Look into mixing metal specificly, its kind of its own beast. Right now most of your stuff sounds over compressed. I would say the mix is so bad it takes aways from your work which is a shame. Followed
This is sweet man. Songwriting and composition is interesting, i enjoyed it. If anything i would tone down the lo-fi quite a bit.
Man this is dope, vibing hard. Not a fan of the filter electronic type fx. Guitars sound a bit muddy compared to everything else in the mix, i think reverb might be part of the culprit. If you turn the reverb down and maybe even sidchain some stuff to it i bet it would sound clearer. Sometimes the sub bass gets a bit crazy too. Screams sound gud.
James Jenkins
Nice man! Sounding really good, not my personal taste but i hang with a lot of cats who would love this. Sub get some interference now and then, look into that. I would also make the main synth a tad brighter, maybe that is just layering a super quiet thing higher up or its an eq thing, you know what to do.
Shit this is dope, your art is a bit unfourtunate tho. Great way to incorperate electronic with metal man. Mix is a bit cloudy in the highs but shit this must be a nightmare to get clean. Sometimes your kick is a bit over powering imo. Would love to hear some vocal work on this Mix is def your biggest weakness tho, get that shit proper and this would be so dope holy shit.
FUCk im done for now sorry for everyone i left out.
this actually isn't that bad, was going to suggest that you think up a better production name, but it's unique and rememberable, which I guess is what's really important.
Luis Hughes
folky protest song- trying to fine tune the nasally voice, probably failing
>plunderphonics n post rock with sound collage n jazz >like Tape or The Books, with some Mouse On The Keys for taste
i'd say be more creative with ur lyrics and be more biting wit it, otherwise everything sounds ok if slightly generic- try getting weird wit your melodies a lil bit
lisened to Condescension and the LFO effect on the intro or whatever you got isn't too interesting... some more varied textures n samples n whatnot like 1000 Fragments era Ikeda
the jump to the next section is abrupt but that part is good, could spare to be even noisier if it wanted
like the main melody but the production sounds kinda weak, drums could be amped up and bass could be increased too desu
