Os Mutantes, Novos Baianos, Caetano Veloso, Jorge Ben, Gilberto Gil, Gal Costa, Milton Nascimento, Joao Gilberto, Chico Buarque, Marcos Valle, a bunch of others. It's a huge rabbit hole worth exploring and helps me feel happier. A lot of those artists can be politically charged and melancholic at times but there's also a current of celebrating art, music and life through a lot of Brazilian music that I find very uplifting. MPB, samba, Tropicalia, and Bossa Nova my man.

Nah I just really like Brazilian music. It's fucking good. There's lots of great stuff from Argentina, Chile, and Peru as well. Would highly recommend bands like Almendra, Aguaturbia, Traffic Sound, Pescado Rabioso, Arco Iris, El Kinto, Laghonia, idk there's a lot. Latin American isn't nearly disseminated enough among online music scenes it's absolutely wonderful.
No problem I hope you enjoy some of it. I'd check out Forca Bruta and A Tabua De Esmerelda by Jorge Ben first if you're looking for truly joyful and life affirming music.
