I tried and tried to get the ban lifted with an appeal and explained what happened numerous times. Every time my appeal was rejected, the last time I submitted an appeal, they said it was rejected again and that I could never make an appeal again.

heh, I never tried to get banned, never was banned for some bs reason, considering the stories I hear of people being banned for things entirely unrelated to what they were actually doing, lucky me I guess ... I can only assume the banned ips I find through tor were used by people trying to evade bans, but,,, trying to eradicate all tor users is too much of a chore for any website

Your isp cannot see what you are doing on tor but they can see that you are using tor. Yes tor is crackable by the feds though. Your big problem using it is that merely using it is great big 'hey look at me I'm doing something naughty' which may warrant further investigation. Even if you are not actually doing anything wrong it's still a good way to get put on a watch list.

That's an entirely different issue, but a valid point for anybody using tor for anything more malignant than being a Sup Forumstard. I use tor to prevent websites from collecting data from me very easily, rather than hide my activities from anyone. Chances are my ISP does see everything I do more or less. I'm sure there are things you can do in conjunction with tor to hide things from them, too, but I haven't had the need.
