Will you give his new album a listen Sup Forums?

His new album will be going back to his old roots. Its supposed to be a mixture of Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals. Are any of you guys anticipating this?

No, I'm over 12 years old.

What do you listen to?

Would you like to elaborate upon why you think Antichrist and Animals should be saved for preteens?

>bf will marry me in court, but not in a church because he was raised religiously out in the country land
>likes old Marilyn Manson's music
:/

His 1996-2000 era is fucking incredibly clever at best and really bottom of the barrel at worst. Beyond that, I don't trust anything Manson releases anymore. He's indulged in the commercialism he supposedly once despised.

Yeah I will.
>Its supposed to be a mixture of Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals
They also said that about the high end of low.

I'll be pleasantly fucking surprised if it's actually the case.

Then you should definitely get into MM. His music is best appreciated if you're at least 18.

Yeh, 13 right faggot?

No.
Say10 is a cringey name.
He hasn't done anything good since the 90's
Trent Reznor isn't involved, so it won't sound anything like ACSS
Manson has turned his brain to mush with drugs, he is probably legally retarded these days.

Did you give his last album a listen? It was pretty decent

He's always had a very fatalistic outlook on that. Commercialism isn't something you can just avoid, that's the point of the Triptych.

>cringey
XD so cringey-cringe!
mommy give cringies!

"pretty decent" doesn't cut it, unfortunately.

Also every fucking song sounded the same.

the golden age of grotesque was fucking trash but at least it had some variety

His wholehearted Bieber endorsement and the weird bandwagoning Say10 preview has turned me into a permanent skeptic.

cringe post desu

oh me too, there's no fucking way it'll be on the level of the triptych but I'm just saying that commercialism is nothing new to him

He was just fucking desperate when 2003 hit. It's like he forgot that there had to be actual substance behind the shock. Also, WWE Nu-metal.

Yeah. The glam of Mechanical Animals kinda did blur the lines between meta-commentary and Hot Topic bait.

he was keenly aware of that, but he had nothing left to say. It's in the lyrics even.

Well that being said, TGAOG does have a message: there's no real difference between counter-culture, establishment, high-brow and low-brow, at the end of the day it's all entertainment.

I'll give it a listen.
but ever album since High End of Low has supposed to have been a mixture of Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals

I think that might me putting words in his mouth. Besides, even if it was self aware, he'd be profiting off it like a pop album all the same with little to no effort.

it was Dita's idea.
He apparently wanted to stop making music.

Anyway who knows? maybe all he needs to git gud again is to remember Rozz Williams.
