Those jews, expecting compensation for their work and keeping your prices lower out of good will

Human greed knows no boundaries.

>We're going to block all VPNs so you have less selection and increase the price.

Netcux.

the only cucks are the customers

>waaah waaaahh waaaaaahi want illegal content waaaaahaawahwhahaahw

I'm not really educated on economies or markets or money AT ALL, but when a business becomes more successful with an exponentially rising amount of customers, shouldn't they usually lower prices instead of raising them because they don't need that much money per customer any more to keep the business afloat and also to show off that they have better prices than their competition as a possible selling point?

>Netflix
>competitors

Lost me there.

No son, go back to school.

Holy fuck that's not even good bait and I almost fell for it.

Really says something about you doesn't it

It's not bait.
It is basically you.

Why be a price leader when you can be a product leader? It's like asking Audi to sell their sedans at Corolla prices.

No, they find the max profits by testing how high they can raise their prices while only losing a small portion of their clients.

It depends on the competition and their prices but most probably not.

10 bucks a month is nothing, though

how can you complain about this?

even 30 bucks a month would be acceptable

...

Amazon Prime has a bigger selection and more original series.

i'm unironically not baiting

or are you trying to bait me?

seriously, de-bait me here. why is 10 bucks a month for unlimited access to tons of entertainment supposed to be bad?

do you guys not have jobs?

>waisting money on something you can get for free

And it's US only, netflix is pretty much worldwide

10 bucks for unlimited watchings(is it? i never used it) of movies and shows is pretty damn good.
i think it used to cost about 2-3 bucks to rent two movies back in the day so 10 bucks is basically nothing.
2 packs of fags, 2 meals at the dicks or like 5 bottles of coke.
its nothing.

It's not bait you fucking retard. You are literally complaining about not being able to steal content.

I've only heard good buzz about Transparent, what else does Amazon have?

Amazon Prime is not US only.

I used to pirate because there was literally no alternative. Now that argument doesn't really hold up any more.
Also, netflix is way more convenient than pirating.

>We're gonna raise the price
>We're gonna give up more tv shows and movies so we can make more original programming
>We're gonna block your VPN so you can't watch content you want even if you're paying for all of it

Netcucks

What is inflation, Alex?

I unsubscribed when the ceo said he will never allow temporary downloads and think people who want them are retards.

So i'm stuck with a service, that buffers a maximum of 30 seconds ahead and you can't use on planes.

call me when you 180 on that decision you cunts.

>not using virtual credit cards

WILL NETFLIX EVER RECOVER FROM THIS?

>unlimited access to everything ever
Netflix fucking blows for content, dude

>shouldn't they usually lower prices instead of raising them because they don't need that much money per customer any more to keep the business afloat

typically yes

but you're not taking into account inflation.

see

The cost they have to pay studios to license their shows and movies is constantly rising.

here, saved you 10 bucks kat.cr/

I hate this. preloading videos is essential for most households with

>Also, netflix is way more convenient than pirating.
Convenient, but the selection is dogshit. It's extremely rare that I can't find something on public trackers and so turn to netflix to find it, and not the opposite

Thanks for reminded me it's time to cancel.

>inflation

bignosedmerchantclaspinghands.jpg

This is pretty retarded
I did not know this.

$9.99 you cheap fuck.

I have

Actually, sometimes you can actually increase your sales by raising your prices. A lot of people will automatically assume the most expensive thing is the best. Marketers have been taking advantage of this for decades. Depending on what demographic you're targeting it's sometimes best to raise your prices.

Fuck off gay guy. My Comcast bill is already over $200 bucks.

Instead of spending a monthly fee on netflix, why not just buy a 1 or 2 TB hard drive and pirate everything? It'll save you money in the long run. If you have shit internet that can't regularly download 10-20GB shows or movies then you don't have good enough internet for netflix in the first place

Because I'm not a poor degenerate and like to contribute to society.

Impossible at HD quality.

8Mb is roughly 1MB/s

HD rentals are 1.2-1.5MB/s

I only subscribe a few months out of the year because I want to show my lack of support for their awful original programming and poor selection in general.

It means that piracy has never been more worth it and that disgusting KYKES can fuck off.

Their video service is, I've used amazon prime trials to buy some shit and have free 2 day shipping, I tried to watch some movies since their selection seemed good and it wouldn't let me, meanwhile netflix works just fine

Sony Entertainment pls go

Your money is not going to the people that actually made the shows and movies, not even remotely close. Currently it's going to great Adam Sandler Netflix movies like The Ridiculous 6 and The Do-Over. So nice job.

Incorrect.

It always streams in HD after a second or two.

uhh, I'm in the UK and use Amazon Prime Video.

Netflix's selection over here is pretty awful.

No, it works in the UK.

because I'm to lazy to set up a seedbox

>2 packs of cigarettes cost 10 bucks
what the fuck is wrong with your country?

>Your money is not going to the people that actually made the shows and movies, not even remotely close
It goes to Netflix paying a licensing fee for other films and shows to stream, which goes to a studio/distributor, which then goes to producing/distributing other films and shows. That's how the business works, things are paid for in advance in hopes of making money in the future.

>tfw 1 pack of cigarettes costs €6,25 here

I have

In the Uk an average pack is £8.00 which = $11.50

And in this case, the movies that are being produced are essentially just vacations for adam sandler and his friends

The only thing I have watched in the past two months on Netflix is Peaky Blinders. All other remotely good shows on Netflix can be found elsewhere. Netflix just paid to make this show an exclusive. I will be cancelling on a matter of principle because they are raising mine too. 10 dollars a month isn't that much, but the fucks have a substandard selection. I can't wait for this whole Netflix fad to die. It doesn't encourage cord cutting, 2.3% percent of people cut cable in 05, it fell to only 1.5% in 2010 and 2.5% cut cable in 2015. It always hovers around the 2% number. Increasing prices discourage people from cable, not watching literally nothing on Netflix.

Pack of cigs are regularly $6-7 where I live, unless you go for a cheap brand.

20 MBps is not the same as 20 Mbps

Way to ignore what I said and make the same stupid point.

Paying for a Sony movie means some of that money goes to making Ghostbusters 16, do you boycott any studio to prevent the movies you don't like being made?

It should be that way. Tobacco is a cancer, just like you.

the value of the dollar has diminished

I have 20mbps
I download things at 2.4mb/s

If you want to support them then buy their DVDs directly, netflix gives them almost no money by comparison

>people don't have agency so the state should tax things in order to control our behavior
how about you quit being a cuck

>and here's some shit comedians shows we've funded with your subcucktions

I'm surprise they're not tackling down on people using their friends accounts.

Then you're using the wrong notation.

Mbps = megaBITS per second
MB/s = megaBYTES per second

1080p is usually 1.2 - 1.5 MB/s
4K would be fine if your connection is 20 MB/s but that would be 200 Mbps

How about you stop being a fag and stop possessing an addictive personality.

Piss off, nerd.

hey autist
you're ignoring the point
I CAN watch 4k with a connection you said it's possible to even watch 1080p
you're wrong and your ISP is fucking you

but I don't even smoke you cuck

Nope. It's math. A film won't stream properly if your connection is below the threshold unless there's a buffering period beforehand.

I don't know which poster you are. post your speedtest.net results

>but I don't even smoke
Tobacco no, cocks yes

>hurr durr gay fag lol cocks
learn to speak like an adult, kid.

>2 packs of fags, 2 meals at the dicks
Haha fucking homo

I can speak clearly because I don't constantly have male genitalia in my mouth. You, not so much.

>hurr durr gay fag lol cocks
learn to speak like an adult, kid.

>people crying over tenbux

About as retarded as my dad, who'd rather spend his time downloading and burning cd's with music than pay $8 for spotify, but when I pay it for him he doesn't touch his CDs.

reminder that Netflix is like 15 years old and is only NOW starting to make a profit, kind of,

10 dollars ain't shit, that's lunch.

i only cancelled it cus it looks disgusting now that I have a big TV.

bitrate is too damn low even on my 120mbit connection

comcast is cucking netflix and thus cucking their customers by proxy.

spotted the peter popper

\Plays HD perfectly without buffering.

>hurr durr gay fag lol cocks
learn to speak like an adult, kid.

>as retarded as my dad
Evidently the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Just saying.

HOWEVER....

Is there a reason not to torrent everything?

because you wouldn't subscribe

not everything has seeds and not every seed has good uploading speeds.

>getting upset that someone on Sup Forums called you a faggot

your posts are screaming "newfag"

No, but let paycucks continue to pay because it keeps the wheels spinning.

>hurr durr gay fag lol cocks
learn to speak like an adult, kid.

The first day of summer is on 6/21. Evidently it's started early.

>adobe flash speed test
no

There is a difference between being sensible with your money and being a jew about it. Unless you're dirt poor, ten bucks per month isn't something you need to make a major decision over.
