Hey if the strawberry crime scene guys sees this, thanks for putting Wishing's album To Forget in your recommendations I really love it
hey can I put this up on slsk so people don't have to use your free download credits?
Put it on soulseek by all means, but I doubt I'll ever run out of download credits since I don't get over 200 downloads in a month.
So Eric, since every album of yours is different, what genre/style to plan on exploring in your next release?
*do you plan

Thought this project was alright. Got the cassette because the shipping was pretty cheap to get it to Canada, although it took a month to get here.

need some constructive critism pls :)
myself : : I really like the songs in terms of composition, but there's this buzzing on every song. Sometimes it seems to be an instrument you're using, other times it's just part of the noise floor, but either way it's a bit grating. As your genre tags imply, lofi is one of the styles you're going for, but I think lofi and digital just don't go well together. Tape saturation can sometimes work, and the warm bandpass sound of a cassette is certainly something people go for, but digital distortion/improper gain staging just doesn't work. I hope you do something more hifi with your next release.
classic recs
thank you for the input!
Im still working on my mixing and mastering skills
I think i will definitely try to do something more clear sounding on my next releases

I'm considering if i should keep going with the windowlistener project, i feel as if i have peaked with Infection and Descent
I felt like I peaked three years ago, but still churn shit out in the hopes that it doesn't sound bad. I've taken a break for about half a year and I'm waiting for that spark to return soon enough. Feels kinda bad man.
This was a home made mashup would like an honest critique....also...This

>First 9 tracks is lo-fi house
>The rest is ambient
Samples from Melvins, Boris, Earth. Some of it is turned into house music and some of it is recycled into more drone.
Enjoy~
Your instrumentals are nice. The singing isn't too great as your accent is pretty obvious and distracting, but your songwriting skills save the album a bit.
Maybe the vocals could be mixed a little better? Not sure how exactly, maybe they're a bit loud in the first track.
Good shit, heavy as fuck and that's awesome. well done and crushing as hell.
You gotta keep listening to shit you like until you feel inspiration. Maybe try something new altogether if you're really done with ambient, or just take your sound and go in a new direction with it. Expirement.
Also 00R1C off of descent scared the shit out of me. You bastard. Didn't expect those glitch sounds to come out of nowhere, lol. You got me good.

Album released TODAY!
>alternative, shoegaze, emo, pop-punk i guess???
This makes me happy as fuck to listen to. I want to plug in my gamecube, smoke a bunch of weed and play harvest moon while listening to this until I fall asleep. Heavy microphones feeling coming off of these tracks.
>8.5/10
First chord progression is painfully boring. The production really doesn't match how bad your microphone is. Lyrics are pretty cringe, rhyming couch with house was a low point. Your vocals are pretty consistently flat as well. Honestly I wish I had something positive to say, like I feel bad just shitting on it but it really is bad.
>1/10
First track seems to build up a lot with no real cathartic release. But I like the production a lot and your voice is well mixed. Second song is far better than the first one imo.
>solid 7/10
Production feels overly bassy. Percussion is really good but the low end gets really overpowering, especially for such ambient tracks. Vocals also seem pretty high in the mix for something that could be considered dream pop. Overall though, the song structures are good and the production is great, only issues I have are with my own personal preferences as far as mixing goes.
>7/10
No need to feel bad, I appreciate your comment.
I'm listening to your album right now (still on the first track) and I like it.
goodnight /bc/

You really need to be making video game soundtracks for unsettling dungeon levels, awesome feels.
Huge sound and really good sludgey production, I love the big transition in Self-Collapse.
Really cool sound, makes acoustic sound heavy, and that's an excellent cover.

If you feel like you're out of ideas, you can always follow Merzbow's example and collaborate with other artists, submit tracks for different compilations
I feel lazy so I'll only give feedback, maybe post my own shit too later (with this being said, pardon me for broken English, as I said I'm lazy)
I want to finish my new album so bad, but lol effort
Jesus, it was released in 2015?
You combine comfy guitar playing with field recordings, the lo-fi production makes it not too harsh on the ears, and it sounds like you recorded all your instruments outdoors in a forest or something
7/10 would listen to this everytime I travel somewhere
Books is pretty good too, I dig the lo-fi synth sound.
Bedroom in Peacetime still is my favourite
>32 albums released since I listened to the Exile last summer

>video game soundtracks
Have you noticed most BC artists here start their career as making comfy, but bland "ambient" they made in FL Studio and trying to sell it as "background music" because it's literally so characterless (both music and presentation/titles/imagery) that no one would want to actively listen to it?
No, "video game soundtracks" is exactly what he needs to avoid
