>greatest post-hardcore album of all time
It's a decent album, but if you genuinely think its the best, you don't know anything about post-hardcore.

yup. this is far better choice

pretty sure they were in their early twenties by then

Is screamo the logical conclusion to post-hardcore?

Pretty sure Fugazi were fully grown adults when they made Red Medicine, OP

It is user

hahahahaahahahahahahahahah get fucked

I'm 30 and have repressed my teenage years, but the guitars on the opening track are still insane 15 years later.

youtube.com/watch?v=J2Rh0DJ_sD8

fuck

I miss going to shows with my friends and then hitting up a diner or mcdonalds afterwards being all sweaty and ears still ringing and talking about the show and the girls that were there

Fugazi is amazing

They're my favourite band and I don't even like rock music

Every band does their best music when they are young, because music is best when it makes you feel youthful and free. When they get older they're just trying to repeat their youth, which is impossible as a middle aged person. Everyone just wants to hear the music they played young when they heard it as a young person. Every legacy band is rated on how much they sound like they did when you were a teenager.

Right in the feels

There's nothing insane about the guitars on that track but it's a great tune.

The heaviest (AND CRAZIEST) guitar songs on that album are Dagger and Kennedy Curse if I recall correctly.

Either way both are just great post hardcore tracks.

>don't even like rock music
kys

>the greatest post-hardcore album of all time.

"No."

Earlier stuff was better

Nah

....you think these guitars are insane?

Explain the War on Drugs then.
Sucks that creativity does dwindle for most though

>tfw always fantasized about being a pro baseball player in HS and being the youngest ever
>tfw 19 now, no longer a fantasty, 19 ball players are normal

80% nostalgia 20% what pedals

Probably masturbated around 700 times.

Basically the same thing, right?

>tfw nobody likes Adelleda but me

okay friends this his literally been bugging me for at least 8 years

is it
>Alex is on fire
or
>Alexis on fire

pls respond

man that's a hard choice OP, but my heart belongs to Crisis

Alexis on fire

I havent seen this pic in years shes probably a mother of 3 by now

...

I don't listen to much post-hardcore but my friend showed me circa survive and I thought they were pretty good. better than alexisonfire

What did you guys think of mothership?

Alexis on fire. I think they were named after a porn star or something.

it's a hard eh for me

definitely a step up from IG but that's not saying much

I feel like Mothership is 50% good.
Some songs I can't even listen to though, like Man of the Year

Circa Survive are probably the best, if not one of the top post hardcore bands. I played drums in high school and most shit was easy to play, but those dudes go hard.
>mfw people complain about Anthony Green's voice being too high
Actually, a friend of mine went to like all of their shows and went to see them at the end everytime to the point where she was texting them and they knew her by name. She even had Anthony call me and leave a message because I couldn't go to a show. I was so jealous.

You should check out God is an Astronaut. They're post, but post-rock.
