Aren't we Brits supposed to be used to bongs?
...
First for the gong as meme of the tournament
lol
english stop supporting andy, we dont want you vile cunts supporting our sportsmen.
maybe he thought it's tea time now and that completely broke his concentration
Why hasn't he moaned about the butterfly yet?
I'm from the North East of England, feel more in common with Andy Murray than Tim Henman.
Do you have the one with Fed watching a vid of Murray crying
they hate us
cus they aint us
thats fine then, you're allowed to support him.
Is Nishikori a buddist? Just wondering if the butterfly is his grandpa?
he prob a shinto
Glorious Nihon
I think he's a tennis player mate
Sorry for the late reply
Dubs and the roof breaks to pieces and and JOHN CENA starts playing
GONG
>Camera zooms into Murray's eyes
>you see his eyeballs and then you zoom out
>suddenly Murray is much younger
>GONG says the school bells in Dunblane, 13th march 1997
>there are gun shots, everyone is panicking
>gun shots are getting nearer the class room
>Murray has his intense tennis competing instincts kicking in
>he grabs the tennis balls from his backpack
>everyone can hear the footsteps of the gunman outside in the corridor
>every classroom is holding their breath not to attract the gun man
>Murray suddenly throws a tennis ball into the next door classroom
>the gunman hears it and goes in there
>shots 7 kids
>3 of them die
>GONG
>Mury is back in New york
>he has lost 5 consecutive games and can't remember a thing
>he thinks about the guilt that is on his shoulders
>I killed those kids he thinks
>I have to win
>for them
>Murray beats Nishikori in the fifth set tiebreak
r8 my short story lads
The interruption from the PA system has really affected him
u wot mayte
I'm trying to watch this but I don't know what the numbers mean
I know the deuce/advantage thing and how a game is scored, but you need to win 6 games to win a set, and you have to win by at least 2 games? and how many sets do you need to win a match? and do you need to win by 2 sets? wikipedia just shits itself when it gets to this section.
Holy shit u just blew my mind. Maybe that's why the gong is triggering him.
You missed the part where Federer reveals his identity as the gunman at the Wimbly 2012 final
>but you need to win 6 games to win a set
yes
>and you have to win by at least 2 games
yes, but they usually introduce a tiebreak if players reach 6-6: the first one to reach 7 points (by at least 2 points) in that game wins the set
>and how many sets do you need to win a match?
3 for a men's Grand Slam, 2 for pretty much every other competition
> and do you need to win by 2 sets?
fuckno, it would be too long
thank you
and I assume everyone except Britain is rooting for the Jap?
Ganbatte Nishikori-chan
yup
bretty gud, putting aside the fact a short story doesn't have a camera you absolute mentalist
but no, seriously, I enjoyed it a great deal. Thank you

>Average Britain
Stan the man! Or based GOAT Djokavich
I'm Scottish but rooting for Nishikori. I always prefer rooting for the underdog and to be honest, I'd like to see something other than the usual guys in the final.
Could you explain the tie breaker thing? I remember that ridiculous Isner/Mahut game that went to like 30 games. Why didn't it go to a tiebreak or have they just changed the rules since then?
Making a guess myself, I've always thought tie breaks were essentially unfair, as one person will always have the advantage with one extra serve. Did they previously allow sets to just continue until they win by 2 clear games, but then changed it after that nonsense match?
It's just banter la
Is Murray your husbando or something?
Some slams dont have tiebreakers in 5th set
Australian Open
With a simple google, only US open has them actually
truly a SCAM
So, who owns this defeat? England or Scotland?
