I play multiple instruments, user
Yes those are four different instruments
just say that you play whatever you can get your hands on user
I see no problems here

W-What's wrong with that?
>tfw im a bass guitarist
>tfw every guitarist i know can transition to bass super easily
>tfw i literally cant even fucking begin to play a guitar
I went from guitar to bass. I'm not bad at bass, but I can only get by on guitar. Chord it up my man
You don't play any of those, Billy. You play and cheat at Donkey Kong.
>every guitarist i know can transition to bass super easily
to a certain extent maybe
proper bass playing is an entirely different skillset to guitar. writing grooves that emphasise both the beat and melody, plus your timing has to be perfect.
le rockist meme
>labels self as guitarist and multi-instrumentalist
>garbage at anything but guitar
Why does it seem like guitarists in particular are the most delusional about their abilities with other instruments? They can usually do alright on bass but don't even get me started on guitarists trying to play keys.
>but don't even get me started on guitarists trying to play keys
Idk, every guitarist who also play piano I've met have been pretty competent. It's not really an instrument people dip into, you either learn to play properly or not at all.
Your timing has to be perfect if you play guitar or drums too, or any instrument in a band.
you do know playing guitar (building up the strength and dexterity in the fingers, assuming you fingerpick as well) lends itself really, really well to keys. Lmao fucking dumbass
Other instruments have to played in time sure, but bassists require dead precision. Everybody revolves around you, especially the drummer who can easily lose the beat after a fill.
Combine that with actually playing interesting basslines and you can see the clear difference.
>drummer who can easily lose the beat after a fill.
Get a better drummer then.
When you can't hear anything? What about a tempo change? It's easily done.
There's a reason even top drummers have a bass feed in their monitor.
>When you can't hear anything? What about a tempo change?
You mean like when you're recording separately in a studio?
See again
I'm also a cocksuckitar [french for vocalmimeparcoursoutdoorart] so... Oh, i can play any instrument, methinks... How is this a point whatsoever? >2017 being good at all ... Though, yes, i am rather good by now
Laying down a foundation drum track in-studio is entirely different to playing live and you know it.
Pointless argument. Literally every professional drummer will tell you the importance of a bassist and how their sense of timing is superior to the rest of the band.
Looks a lot more like 2 instruments to me
>piano
>guitar
>bass (upright too)
>tenor banjo
>violin
>clarinet
>saxophone
