The fact that you appreciate Future Days so much grows my respect for you. Altogether p good 7/10

Future Days has always been one of my all time favorites, just haven't been listening to it too much as of recently.

Check out Harmonia - Musik von Harmonia, I feel like you'd dig it

Didn't Eno do a record with them? Think I've listened to that but not any of their actual albums. Downloading their first two records now.

like honestly the worst thing anyone can do to themselves is to think they're somehow different or anything cuz like when I finally, truly realized in a non self pitying way what a tremendous pathetic sack of shit I am only then did my life begin to marginally improve

like i used to talk mad shit about everyone but then like a year or two ago i realized that it was stupid because literally everyone i would deride was better than me in like every single possible way but then i felt really bad and still do because i realized i have fucking nothing going for me

ppl tell me i have a bad attitude but it's hard not to act like a dumpster fire when you've been a huge failure your entire life

i'm obviously trying otherwise I wouldn't have gotten through 2 years of misguided higher education held down a job for a year and a half and have a bunch of money saved up

i dont know man i'm jusy like, fuck!!
born tk be a failure

i listened to neil yong on the bus and it was good

good to see this classic "everyone posts, nobody reads" threads are still alive in 2017.

spoilers: nobody gives a shit about the bands you listen to. stop posting your torrenting receipts

ty lad. check out 2814's newest album if you haven't already. also this

you cared enough to shit up the thread you knuckle dragger

You have fine taste, but Yo La Tengo is overrated hot garbage. None of their songs, even the "good" ones, ever realize their true potential and blossom into something more.

Sun Ra - The Nubians of Plutonium [or something like that]
Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain
Eric B. & Rakim - Follow the Leader
Genesis - Selling England by the Pound
XTC - Skylarking

NOW FEED ME YOUR (YOU)'s. But really though, can I have some recs and comments on my taste? I've been browsing Sup Forums at least three years now, and, even if what I'm about to write sounds super pathetic, I'd like to know if my taste constitutes that of a "patrician." Sure, I don't like ridiculously esoteric shit, but I think anything that takes itself too seriously is probably hot garbage. I also have a hard time enjoying intentionally ugly music. Help me if you can. I'm trying to find something that would be a good complement to my current favorites, preferably something psychedelic from the 60's, but anything is good, as long as its got soul.

i was going to post my chart but idk why i even post anymore
it doesnt do anything for me
i just listen to jon hassell and pet my gf

The green dinosaur in OP's chart reminded of an album I saw here the other week with what I believe was a blue dinosaur on the cover. It was electronica from the 80s, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

it just isn't funny anymore
you have better things to be doing than the sanic formula

Last bit of update before I go to sleep with favorites that I have been recced here, and others I actually own but have been in the mood for.

Dude, your shitposting skills are slacking to the point of being annoyingly boring. Want a method to keep your eyes open? Make an attempt to shitpost better.

I am not big into indie stuff all that much, the only things I can forsee myself suggesting though are:

The Tallest Man On Earth - The Wild Hunt
Dan Deacon - Bromst

Get more hip to cool dancey stuff.

James Holden's Balance 005
Michael Meyer's Immer
Leon Vynehall's Music For The Uninvited
Floating Points' King Bromeliad/Nuits Sonores

A lot of your stuff is still Sup Forumscore. I feel like reccing you won't help much, especially since there's so much for you to delve into already. Maybe make a more concise chart of what you're digging the most next time?

Oceansize - Frames

We would have some epic love/hate relationship adventures IRL.

You gotta get hip to that chamber folk style more, though!

Nico - Desertshore
Morita Doji - A Boy

Oh and you might enjoy Mark Kozelkek's attempt at electronic folk stuff on Perils From The Sea.

A Black Dad

is in a band

Hey teens

owns a amiga

I see a lot of abstract hip hop, drone and sludge. I love your chart. I recently listened to that Howls of Ebb album, it's great. I recommend Murmuure - s/t, Terra Tenebrosa - The Reverses, Techno Animal - The Brotherhood of the Bomb & Subtle - For Hero: For Fool

Nice, Paralytic Stalks is super under rated. I'm surprised to not see Circulatory System's self titled on there though.

You should also check out Kisihi Bashi if you haven't already

Don Ellis at Filmore

Charles Mingus - Let My Children Hear Music

Joe McPhee - Nation Time

Die Like a Dog Quartet - Aoyama Crows

Sonny Sharrock - Space Ghost Coast to Coast

Try Yezda Urfa - Boris. It sounds a bit like Yes.

Gorgeous E6, don't think I've ever seen Frosted Ambassador in a chart before. I actually love Circulatory System's S/T, MOM very slightly edges it out personally. And funnily enough I originally got into oM through Kishi Bashi, I started browsing here back in 2012 and ran into Kishi in a sharethread and loved his record, first listen to oM it didn't really hit me but I gave it more time because I enjoyed Kishi Bashi so much, now they're my favourite band. Do you have last.fm or rym man?

>gayposter
alright fa󠀀m

...

Bessie Smith complete recordings

weird chart desu

this chart needs krautrock
Just check out Sacred Bones Records
Oulu Space Jam Collective -The Cosmic Voyager
Space Debris - Space Temple
When are you going to add that 4 hour long instrumental rap album on your chart
Dream Theater - The Astonishing
Tangerine Dream - Electronic Meditation

don't see a lot of people with Monster Movie in their charts, let alone near the top, nice pick

I've got last fm, but I haven't had scrobbling hooked up since 2015, so I wouldn't call it a useful gauge of taste

last.fm/user/The_Bhuda_Palm

I've tried to get into krautrock a few times but without much success. What's a good place to start with the genre?

Can, either Ege Bamyasi or Tago Mago, or you can try Eno's Before and After Science first, as that's essentially kraut-light.
Or Kraftwerk's first.

I don't get why everyone recommend Tago Mago or Ege Bamyası to people new to krautrock. They are very experimental compared to most other krautrock albums that turns off many newbies

>very experimental compared to most other krautrock albums
Really?
Amon Duul, Ash Ra Tempel, Faust and Neu! were all far harder for me to get into than Can. Can has a certain catchyness that just pulls you in.
