wrong, they weren't on top form. both were struggling with injuries and weren't 100% fit (but had to play). bayern had no proper replacements and failed to create goal chances. It was just a sideways passing fest. Real Madrid was deadly efficient with their counter-attacks and corners/free kicks in this game

Frank Ribery was voted as best eruopean footballer in the world for a reason, Martinez and Schweinsteiger -still in his prime in 2013- were the best central midfielder duo that you could find, Robben´s pace and ruthless scoring was killer. Müller was as lethal as he´s always been (Barcelona knows), Dante was brillant and Boateng obviously as well. Lahm and Alaba are the best fulbacks to this day and Neuer the best goalkeeper. Combine all of that with the direct play Heynckes instructed them to use and you have by far the best team that deserved to win the CL.

There is a reason they could beat a Dortmund team by 25 points and also in the CL final that played the most fearsome counter-attacking football with a superb trio of Götze, Reus and Lewandowski and back-ups in defensive areas with the likes of Gündogan and Hummels. They aren´t suddenly weaker than Barca, Madrid and Atletico just because Guardiola was foolish to slow their game down at times and make them play the most retarded strategy with 4 really far up the pitch positioned defenders.

Robben inferior based on what? It´s possible but not proven. I´ve never seen them do anything like Robben did to Spain in the world cup- just as an example. I definitely see Bale, Suarez and potentially Neymar as inferior. They´ve never shown up like that with a somewhat average netherlands squad(still strong but not as strong as those guys had at their disposal).
