ITT: We share our near death experiences or the closest we've been to death. What was it like?
Death was like a warm sleep after a long, bright day. A welcoming embrace after a shitty life not lived.
Curious because I watched Enter the Void recently
You get tired. Pain go's away. Feel sleepy. Sleeping feels good. Struggling to breathe feels bad. Start to hallucinate and dream. Blackness. Source sawn off shotgun to chests am alive now brought back from dead
I believe what happened in that movie.
fag got poet. Kill yourself irl
Do you see a light or is it just nothing?
Movie trips me out so bad. I can't imagine floating around after your death, watching everyone live while you're fucking dead.
Got stabbed 4 times. Icu for a couple days. They say i flatlined but i remember nothing except waking up
...
Appendicitis. Felt like someone was scraping the inside of your gut with a piece of steel wool.
It's really not that bad. You become freed from your senses. You perceive this dimension differently in death. More as a consciousness than as a flying vessel.
Why were you stabbed?
Well you're in luck that doesn't happen. Nothing happens you're dead. Ask me shotgun guy and stabbed guy. Deal with it
Explain
This guy's never died. Llser nothing happens you are dead I've died
> fag got OP just skipping over answers he doesn't like. Underage ban
Which one of youse HAVE seen something when you were dead or near death? I go to these Near Death websites and they all say pretty much the same thing, taht there was a tunnel and a warm loving feeling a majority of the time, or the few hellish visions where they are in hell being tortured or chained or walking in some plains that are pretty much just rock and ash amongst other lost souls that feel guilty and depressed but aren't necessarily tortured.
I almost died drowning while white water rafting. I was caught underwater on a branch and the force of the water moving so fast kept me pinned on the tree. I blacked out for awhile, and I just remember feeling cold and numb, like I was just fading away. At that point I thought that I still had stuff to live for, so I shimmied up the branch and did the hardest pull up of my life. At that moment, I probably felt the most alive I have ever felt, my whole existence just focused on surviving. It was scary, but kind of freeing in a sense. I don't really fear dying as much as if I die early I'll be missing out on things I haven't done. Hope this gave you somewhat an idea of what death is like.
DMT
Shotgun guy here. As you're dieing your brain remains active for quite a long time. During this period your brain will release large amounts of dmt the chemical responsible for dreaming. The reason that they don't have a further story just and then I woke up is because in between the visions and waking up they were dead. Kinds like sleeping on a plane, you don't remember all the time passed but it still happened . Only instead of sleeping u r dead
Heaven and he'll aren't real if that's what you're asking.
> Long distance relationship with girl who cucked me multiple times. I hardly ever visited her because no car
> Finally get a car to go and visit her on her lunch break at work
> Drive home and on the way back, some lady leaving a birthday party exits the driveway from the house they were having it at
> Doesn't look both ways and is on the verge of being struck directly by me
> swerve left last minute to avoid hitting her
> Hit her anyways
> Swerve into a deep ditch and slam directly into a tree
> car totaled to shit
I made it out okay but none of the cunts even bothered to check on me to see if I was okay. When the cop came she tried fucking me over and pinning it on me. If I hadn't swerved she'd have been either dead or in a hospital.
She got a fender bender and was fucking bawling into her husband's arms. Fucked up part is there was a cross right next to where I crashed from where someone else had died. Didn't really hit me what actually happened until months later when I thought back to it.
That's wild
I would imagine people who get killed via trauma to the brain wouldn't have too many stories to tell if they wer3 able to be brought back to life cus they can't dream
My dad flatlined for a whole minute a couple years back, he told me he saw a forest
Nearest of death I been to was basically almost drowning. A friend of mine didn't know I couldn't swim and I was on a pool float raft thing, he pushes me over in the deep end and I remember trying my hardest to stay above water. I wasn't near the edge of the pool, literally dead center in the deep end and so I don't know how long it took, but I just got tired and then felt very peaceful and almost ready to just pass on. At that point by some miracle, my friends dad jumps in and saves me and all I remember is waking up on the ground with his panicked face hovering over me asking me if I was alright. I was like 6 or 7 when this happened so I can't remember much after that. Either way, from waht I remember, there was a sense of absolute serenity.
That's amazing
My dad overdosed on pills and alcohol a long time ago. My mom said he died, but when he was revived, he said he remembered nothing but instead had a really surreal feeling about reality when he woke up.
Can't say that I'll ever want to go white water rafting ever again, but if I had to summarize it in one word, it would be insightful.
My friend had her head split open by a metal rod her bf beat her with. She died and was brought back to life as well. Said she experienced terrifying hallucinations that lasted for ages. Glad she's still alive, she's a great person. It's great you're alive as well.
Ate myriads of pills at one time when I was a selfish teenager. Felt as if my stomach was melting, became manic on my way to hospital, hard to stay conscience, immensely tired. Collapsed while going in, woke up 14 hours later with a tube in my dick. I felt delirious. That's about it
