/nfl/ MARGIN PREDICTOR 2016
not much time left, SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY before the game starts today, only a few bongs left
alright guys now that real football is finally back, I've got a season-long game I've set up for us. the goal is to pick how many points you think teams will win by and get as close as possible to the actual result, and I'll tally up your points every week and post a small leaderboard of the top scorers.
how many points you get for each pick depends on how close you were: >0 off: 5 points >1-3 off: 4 points >4-7 off: 3 points >8-10 off: 2 points >11-14 off: 1 point >15+ off: no points then multiply that by how confident you were in your pick. the maximum score you could get is 240 in a week, and 3840 in a season.
>Name put here what you want your entry to be listed as if I end up posting your score. if you leave it blank, then I'll just use Anonymous.
>ID Code put anything you want here, as long as it's the same every week. I'll be the only one that sees it, it just lets me know that you're the same guy that played last week using that code.
>Matchup simply pick who you think wins that game.
>Margin enter how many points you think they will win by. it has to be a whole number and can't be negative.
>Confidence put either 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 here based on how confident you are that you'll get the margin right for that game.
>you can only have 48 total confidence points. if you go over, I will randomly discredit one of your highest-confidence games until you're at or under 48. you'll get no points for that game. >if your ID Code is submitted twice, only the most recent one counts >only entries submitted before the start of the first game count >leaderboard of the top 10 scorers will be posted after the MNF game >taking suggestions for what to rename this game, because Margin Predictor is bland and dumb

Why do people hype the Redskins? They're 8-8 at best. Cousins is mediocre.
Chase Cook
sure, Montana played in a revolutionary passing system but so did Dan Fouts, Ken Anderson, and Kurt Warner and they don't have the careers Montana did
Michael Adams
1.Marino 2.Montana 3.Simms 4.Elway
debate me
Daniel Powell
Name a fanbase that can lose their starting QB for the year and still have full confidence they'll make the playoffs.
Jose Brown
Then Dak+ Zeke go 10-6
Yeah because those potheads are the only players that make the cowboys defense the best in that division /s
fucking retard
Gavin Taylor
Because 8-8 might be enough to win their division

Ryder Torres
Not full confidence but the Bengals could still be pretty good with McCarron.
Ryan Allen
Apparently the Cowboys according to their delusional fan base
>m-muh preseason
Christian Rodriguez
I'm also a little peeved the Jaguars were described as "football's biggest headache" when teams like the Browns and Lions exist.
Levi Davis
I feel Neil Lomax was the most left-field passing leader of all time. Just a strange career he had.
Benjamin Garcia
Nick Foles sure has been tearing up the league after his statistical anomaly also right?

correct, the 2010 seahawks and 2014 panthers still were guaranteed a home playoff game at the #4 seed because they won their division

Parker Sanchez
>win the NFC East and get #6
William Fisher
Haven't been paying much attention this offseason but just checked the Lions' schedule and holy fuck is it easy. They'll probably be mediocre and could still go 12-4.
Oliver Fisher
what bullshit he was posting under a new trip with tiki in the trip until someone shoo'd him off
Adrian Mitchell
The AFCW has a similar issue this year. They could honestly send 3 teams to the playoffs this year.
Levi Stewart
I think he said one of them has a grudge against him because of one time he posted kstew or something, and has been banning him on sight for a while now.
besides, it's not like cowboysfag delusion is an exclusive phenomenon to just tiki. it's practically a prerequisite to call yourself one of their fans.
Nicholas Sanders
Tiki says a lot of shit that's blatantly false. Pretty sure he's a pathological liar at this point.
Joseph Peterson
True. It's just I'll miss Tiki's particular brand of delusion.
>Wanting a Ryan other than Buddy RIP in peace and no thanks man.

Belichick on Sean Payton's support of Brady and the Patriots,
>“It means a lot. I have a good friendship with Sean. We go back quite a ways. We have a great working relationship, a great professional relationship and a good personal relationship," he said. "So I always appreciate his support. He’s had ours. We’ve had his. Can’t say that about everybody, but he certainly has been a good friend and a good supporter.”
Zachary Miller
It's not like I chose it. Might as well make the best of it. >tfw our first and second rounders who were projected to start are injured and our best d-lineman is suspended

Jacob Roberts
Hey harb so what was that Redzone stimulation thing you talked about in the AA draft?
Jace Price
LA Rams, you'll fit right in with them. they just moved back to their home of 50+ years after being gone for 2 decades, and a bunch of new "lifelong rams fans" have been popping up everywhere.
it's a browser based online game where we all take over a team and play in a league against other teams. you gotta train them up, find new talent, set your game plans, manage your finances, the whole package. the amount you need to play per week can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 10 hours, depending on how in-depth you want to go. we have about 8 or so guys in the same league already, we have a channel on the /nfl/ discord (check the OP) if you want more details.

If your team is having trouble with hamstring injuries they're being retarded.
>Initially intended as a research project, Elliott and the Patriots’ sports medicine staff began the program by individually assessing the team at the end of the season to identify potential weaknesses and imbalances. These factors included hamstring muscle strength, muscle coordination, pelvic alignment while sprinting, and running technique. Players were then given a position-specific program that corrected any observed deficiencies, even addressing sprinting technique. The results were significant: prior to implementing the program, the Patriots had 22 players suffer hamstring injuries, but after the program was implemented that number dropped to three and then two the following season.
he's almost online in the discord, which shows what games people are currently playing since discord was designed as a communication service for gaming to begin with.
also, since he's been banned he talks in there more often when he's not playing, and that's just one of the things that came up. the place is pretty comfy actually, although tiki is still tiki.
Parker Cook
>when youtube bro scientists have been talking about muscle imbalances for years and only now the multi billion dollar nfl teams catch on
Christopher Rodriguez
where are they from and how good are they?

Patriots saving the NFL, as usual.

Jags are 'rising'. Gotten better on paper but no one's 100% obviously on how theyll do this year. All the teams in their division got better, but the division isnt strong overall.
They're a trendy pick for winning their division. Central Florida team, defensive head coach.
If you're looking for gritty and northern just watch any games from our snow mexican teams and pick one. Most cold weather teams are gritty, unless they pussy out and play in a dome.

I wish. For not it only seems like the Patriots are interested in preventing hamstring injuries.

Doesn't their best player have a hamstring injury as I type?
Angel Nguyen
It's only right for the hardest working players to have the highest risk of injury.
