yeah
Especially that shot of the horsies running, and you could see they legs and it was in slo mo, ooh that good shit.

No the actual battle was shot but an autistic retard I swear they brought Michael J Fox in because hollywood still feel bad for him.

was about to say. that shot made me stop for a second and think "when did D&D ever shoot good scenes?"

the fact that you only saw their bodies and hooves, no soldiers and no exuberant soundtrack to go with it made it fantastic

This

Charge of the Baelish Grays

that scene was really great

but other than that just an apex of tv filmmaking, but not very special otherwise. still good though.

Watch more films

I prefer emotional impact of battles in s1.

Torrents aren't working in Singapore.
Anyone have direct download links?

I suggest you download a first world living situation.

Interestingly enough only the North part was good

The Dany part was badly shot, had shitty special effects, fewer extras, worse writing, shittier acting...

It's like they really really want everyone to skip over that part

Do you only watch television?

no fuck you

Some of the cinematography has actually been pretty good this season.

Doesn't make up for the shit writing though

>Of all the shots you could have chosen (this ep had a lot of nice shots) you didn't pick the best shot of the whole season.

m8

this desu

so was Rickon

...

Sorry but that's a pleb shot.

that's shit

the best one would be slow motion horses riding, but that might just be my personal preference

K

>might

you might be onto something here

you might be retarded

D&D are producers not the cinematographer/director

Davos by the pyre was shot of the episode

Haha savage senpai

yep

by a fucking mile, too

It was terrible and only the teenagers and manchilds with juvenile tastes liked it.

Everything about those battles was bad.

Everything related to Davos was the best shot of the episode. The poor man is so disillusioned with fucking everything.

There was literally one battle in S1 and we didn't see it because Tyrion got knocked out. Nice try fitting in

thank god i'm not the only one thinking this. You're a real puh-layer

>this is good cinematography according to got redditors

>Some of the cinematography has actually been pretty good this season.
t. mouth breathing pleb

It was an excellently directed and visually stunning episode. Too bad that doesn't mean dick when you have a mountain of logical inconsistencies in the story and having characters make needlessly stupid decisions in order to advance the plot.

I bet you think you are right with all the bullshit you are saying.

This is just... sad.

This

That Davos shot was great.

>this is considered a ""good"" shot by the low IQ neo Sup Forums television watchers

Please, tell me what's bad about it? I never said it was an exceptionally amazing shot compared to some shit we see in films but as fast as TV goes it's pretty damn good. If you can actually tell me some legit reasons why it's not a good shot then by all means, enlighten.

fuck off with that ugly terrible actress

What bullshit is he saying?

this is a contrarian post by your typical vietnamese image board goer.

your waifu was killed off wasn't she

in english, doc

nope my waifu is in film not this shitshow

...

>pussy faggot user doesn't wanna name his waifu
is it because she... A SHIT?!?!?

Welp, you just went full retard

>having a waifu at all
neckbeareded landwhale what a common sight

If you like to watch adhd camera movements and fast cuts

Something that other faggot can't seem to refute.

I say the stupid decision making isn't needless. Why can't the characters make mistakes?

you dont get a waifu the waifu gets you

post fit

sure. and it was an amazing episode. but we still gonna hate!!!!

I'm naked.

I agree, but I would have liked them so make some fucking useful tactical decisions. Like Ramsay using scout forces, thus seeing the huge cavalry unit coming his way. Or the Starks trying to use the mobile Wildlings against the clunkier phalanx formation Ramsay used. Something resembling sense. We got
>lel ride in the middle lel

that poor waifu

>mfw I will never charge into battle holding my banner high

Fuckin' what? Not only are your "look at my examples of bad shot composition" scribbles fucking retarded. A shot isn't just about a still frame the shot as a whole was quite something, the moment he draws his sword and the charge getting close and closer and closer, the faces going out of frame, the horses getting bigger, the looming feeling.

You're a pretentious gaylord if you think it's a "bad" shot. Go back to film school bromigo, you failed class.

only in the action scenes, got action was always shit

it could be shot by wong kar wai and they'd still bitch user.lol

S H I T S H O W

Yeah, it like someone took directing 101 and copied all the angles from there

The charge was a response to try and save Jon who lost it after ricky lost the game. I agree about the scouts but, do you expect even that level of thoroughness from this show at this point? I thought the indiscriminate firing to create a mount of corpses was an interesting choice.

Not him but Reddit pls leave

If you use the word "contrarian," you're literally an idiot. It's an invented concept by idiots with childish sensibilities who are too fragile to deal with criticism of mediocre media that has widespread appeal.

It's a troubling manifestation of millennials' mental weakness. Seriously, the only people who would even entertain any "argument" involving the concept of being "contrarian" are weak, lazy idiots who can't deal with criticism substantively.

If it bothers you that much that people criticize mediocre mass-marketed work designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator, like Star Wars, Breaking Bad, GoT, etc., you should find a safe bubble and stay there(Sup Forums). Or kill yourself.

Not him but Reddit pls depart

hey user, how is it living on the edge?
youtube.com/watch?v=7nqcL0mjMjw

Yes tits fire

I wanted one line out of Ramsay
>but lord Bolton, we'd be hitting our men
>we have men to spare, they don't
>make sure our archers fire long

End of it. I liked the corpsehills too.

>game of thrones fan
YOU tell me

>got action was always shit
>the episode was 40 minutes of action
>plebs are giving it 10/10
shit show, shit fans

>uh oh a properly worded response that isn't a one line insult what do I do

shoulda just called you a faggot I guess

Yeah some form of premeditation or reaction from him or his men would have been nice. I imagine they expected that cruelty by then but they can't all be so hardened against it.

Literally telekino.

yeah they should've shot the entire episode inside of jon snow's asshole for that avant garde, new and interesting perspective instead of the contrived, overdone shot of an army charging at an overwhelming a lone hero.

Best shot was Davos.
Second best was knights of the Vale storming in.
prove me wrong you cant.

I'm not even the user you replied to desu

beautiful

I'm not even the user who made that longer post.

SOPHOMORE

That whole sequence was pretty nice. the draw and the closing gallop. Apparently it was all real too. 40 horse charge than stopped a meter from Kit

now thats meta

I reply for people so much I gave up on saying
>not that user but

SHIT
SHOW

>mfw i think it was the best episode yet

really makes you think

me2

in this season? Yeah I think so too.

how are they aren't working? even magnet links?

Far too many ridiculously unneeded focus pulls this episode. It wasn't technically good at all, but it was enjoyable regardless.

Can you please explain your position? The most annoying thing about about Sup Forums is everyone claims to be an expert about everything, I fall for this trap sometimes as well but it's really prevalent here.

It's boring to focus pull over and over again in a film or tv show. It just shows "wow I can focus pull look at me", they didn't do anything remotely interesting with the focus pulls besides pulling other men in the shot of the battle into focus that we could already clearly make out - it was fairly easy to guess they were going to focus pull when they cut to each shot.

No joke, that scene where Jon gets trampled by soldiers and suffocate made me legit uneasy. Especially considering that's a thing that actually happens too often in real life.

My nigga. That one stood head and shoulders above the rest

That's because they've got a different team on the Mereen/Dorne parts. It's why they've always got shittier fight choreography.

They did a good job. I was irritated by the camera jumping and then realized what what was happening and it made me p. uncomfortable
